Don't we all...
13 things my uncle told me before he died: not everyone has the blessing to understand sadness when waiting at the bus stop, it’s okay to smoke cigarettes never touch anyone else’s clothes at the laundromat it’s okay to miss the people who were bullets to you when your grandmother asks you how you are, be honest never be afraid to say “no” even after you’ve said “yes” if someone tells you graffiti isn’t art, prove them wrong remember people by their eye color not their clothes you’re allowed to like dark chocolate with tangerines don’t lie that you don’t have a lighter when you really do turn your phone off every once in a while and find the moon if you want a tattoo, don’t let anyone tell you not to get it if you ever find yourself at the graveyard, read the names

I hate when you make me feel like I'm special. It just makes it hurt that much more when reality slaps me in the face and reminds me I'm just a piece of ass.
When you say “no,” and you mean “no,” and the other person, regardless of whether it’s in a situation where somebody wants to attack you or a situation where somebody wants to change your opinion…
When you say no, and the other person continues, you should think immediately — not “how do I make it nice, how do I make it better” — but immediately think why is this person trying to control me because “no” is a complete sentence.
My neighbor I rode the bus with in grade school had two brothers and she thought her parents only had sex three times ever in life.
I was in like fourth grade and told her she was a fucking idiot
It amazed me the number of people didn't know their parents had sex. By the time I was 10, I couldn't count on both hands the number of times I had walked in on or heard my parents having sex, and my bedroom was upstairs. By the time I was a teenager I had also walked in on them watching porn together several times and once I walked in on my mom giving my dad a blow job in the laundry room before he went to work on 3rd shift. My brother, who's bedroom was downstairs and next to theirs, learned early on how to sleep with headphones on his ears to drown out the sounds. My daughter is 15 and she hears them have sex at least once a week when she is staying with them. Some people must have a quieter mother than I do.

I have a love affair with hardcovers. They’re elegant and sleek and sometimes when you take off the sleeve there’s a surprise on the cover. But then other times I really love paperbacks because they’re so casual and cool like they won’t take it personal if you fold over a corner. And then there’s ebooks which are like epitome of convenience and I can hold a library in the palm of my hand. I just really love books
Shit, its the thumb thing
i love the thumb thing
i do the thumb thing
I miss the thumb thing
I need the thumb thing
I want the damn thumb thing.
Turning you on turns me on.
