HA, I live in Wilhelmstraße and this car is always parked there somewhere, the owner must be living here. I always look out for this beauty when I ride my bike through Zimmerstraße.

“kamerageschützt” ist nicht bloß Sicherheitstheater, sondern auch Neusprech. Die Kameras schützen faktisch nichts und niemanden. Aber mit einem positiv besetzten Wort wie “schützen” lässt sich die Überwachung natürlich vel besser der Bevölkerung verkaufen.

Offenbar ist es für manche schwer zu verstehen, dass es hier um eine abschreckende Wirkung an einem Ort geht, an dem vermutlich in der Vergangenheit Straftaten verübt wurden. Am besten, man entfernt auch Kameras an Bahnhöfen, in Banken, an Tankstellen und überall sonst, wo sie erwiesenermaßen zur Aufklärung von Verbrechen beitragen oder ihnen vorbeugen. Denn viel wichtiger ist für den Deutschen natürlich, dass er ja nicht in der Öffentlichkeit gefilmt wird, wie er...so da langgeht. Das gucken sich ja bestimmt ganz viele Leute an und machen genaue Notizen darüber, wie man...so da langgeht.

Berlin Lehrter Bahnhof S-Bahn. I am annoyed with myself that I did not take more pictures of this now vanished station, but I have only a colour transparency of the exterior, and a few black and whites of the platform, see the previous posting. The Berlin wall was not far away down Invalidenstrasse, so I was probably keen to get there. Picture from 1980.

Amber almost bursts out laughing and Johnny’s performance is so over the top, you can tell right away they’re taking the piss out of this whole affair.
