imagine your dad sells his business so you can continue karting, you win the f2 championship two years in a row and you convince a team principal to let you drive for his team, you start in williams and somehow drag that shitbox up to p3 for your first ever podium in belgium, you stay with that team for another year until you have to step in as a reserve driver for your dream team, you lead that race in a car that doesn’t fit you and lose the win to a badly timed pit stop. a year later, you join that dream team, said team hasn’t lost a world championship since 2013, but somehow, the year you join, the dominance period ends and the cars are terrible, you’re in the second seat and somehow you still qualify at most races, your teammate moves to another team and you’re finally the team leader, and a teenager joins, he’s not very good for the first year but it’s okay because you come 4th in the world championship, and the cars are finally good and it looks like you’ll win a wdc soon. its 2026, and you win the melbourne grand prix, your teammate dnf’s but it’s fine because the team principal isn’t mad at him, then for the next few races, your car is horrible, the seat’s too far back, the peddles don’t work, it’s insanley slow, it makes weird noises and somehow your teenage teammate keeps out qualifying you, he got amazing out of nowhere, but it doesn’t matter, because it’s the montreal grand prix and you podiumed in canada two years in a row. you win the sprint qual, then the sprint, then the qual, and you’re leading the race, your teammate goes off track three times and the team principal isn’t mad for some reason, and it looks like you’re going to win, then your car turns off for some unknown reason. you lose all your points, and then it’s monaco, and your team is saying theyll terminate you if you don’t out qualify your teammate by the end of the season. why? you had a whole season without a dnf, you got pole three times in a row, and you haven’t had a single race where you didn’t get points. they just want max verstappen.
