Hi Everybody,
So I don’t really post here very much anymore, but I thought I’d say hey and let you all know what’s up! A few months ago, tumblr got kinda bad for me - I now disagree with a lot of how this platform works. People can share your work however they want, and work can never fully be removed from this site, even with account deletion. These features take power away from creators over their own work. I appreciate that many other artists have found success with their communities on this platform, but I don’t feel supported by the site itself, and I just don’t personally think that it’s a good outlet for my final work. If and when some of these issues are addressed, I’ll consider using tumblr to share my work more actively. Right now, I just don’t want to deal with it, or consider these implications when posting my art. I’m way more active on twitter, instagram and twitch. I post everything on twitter, art goes on instagram, and I live my life on twitch, where I stream painting live almost daily.
