hi, i was wondering how you get the hair strand texture on your hairs or do you just draw it by hand? 'cause that's really impressive!

I just draw it by hand in photoshop! 🙈 I find it to be very relaxing.

Aaaah, thank you! I’m so glad you do! I really loved the idea behind the challenge, but I wanted to put my own little spin on there.

Plus I just love the rainbow gradient of the sorbet remix palette, so I wanted to include more all of the colors... 🙈

I stole the whole “have kids with two different sims” idea from the original challenge – and, honestly, the only reason I did it was because I really wanted to do a three color gradient in photoshop (gradients are so-so pretty...)!

The reason you got lost is because the link is currently a work in progress. Haha. I hope to have it up soon, but I’m being picky with how it looks, so I’m coding the page myself.

Basically, a CAS legacy challenge is taking any challenge you find and playing it only inside CAS. It’s focused on creating the style of sims that the challenge asks for, but without the long gameplay aspect.

The reason I really like it is because, one: I absolutely love making sims and two: I really love all the challenges out there but I don’t have a ton of time to sit down and play entire legacies (objectives and all).

I start by creating a founder. Then I’ll create a spouse and use the genetics option in CAS to make their kids (I use challenge rules to determine how many, or a dice roll). All of the genetics for the kids are determined by either the game or a genetics generator. After that, I’ll choose and heir and repeat the process for the whole challenge. Each heir follows the personality guidelines they are supposed to in the challenge that I’m basing it off of.

I find it to be a lot of fun!

I adore fantasy sims! I have so much fun creating them because of the lack of limitation (and I secretly want elf ears, so I live vicariously through my sims...)!

I definitely recommend playing with them!
