I’m super freaking excited for this. I think at this point, as long as Sakaguchi bags the role of Mamura, I’ll forgive the film if it’s shit BUT looking at the works of the director and screenwriter, I think we have a good team.

I’ve seen most of Takehiko Shinjou’s films and he’s strength is on romance films that pull on your heartstrings. Some of his films may be hit or miss (Kiyoku Yawaku), but we can ensured that his direction will set the tone for HnR. I’m actually so excited for the screenwriter Adachi Naoko to be on board. I absolutely LOVED “Rich Man Poor Woman”, and I reckon she can easily blend the romantic comedy and serious elements nicely for HnR.
