SUMMARY: The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating shipment deliveries in an accurate and timely manner.

The Shipping Coordinator will work directly with the product teams, drivers, and sales representatives.

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to do the following: Build, schedule, and consolidate product deliveries into truck loads.

Coordinates the scheduling and dispatching of drivers to cover each truck load to ensure timely delivery.

Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instruction for loading products.

Monitor personnel and/or equipment locations and utilization in order to coordinate delivery schedules.

Arrange for necessary preventive maintenance and repairs for equipment and delivery vehicles.

Monitor the accuracy and timeliness of all shipping documents, gathers, and maintains all data relative to shipping activities.

Ensure shipment weight compliance, safety of the vehicles and ensure drivers are following DOT regulations.

Collects all documentation for outbound freight and routes to the proper record keeping unit.

Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work environment.

Communicates effectively and regularly with the operations and sales teams to coordinate on time shipments.

Perform other functions deemed necessary by the Supervisors.

Performs additional duties as required and or requested.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Education required College Education preferred.

1-2 years of Warehouse experience 1-2 years of Dispatch and/or Fleet experience OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Ability to use a computer and tablet Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word Excellent oral and written English language communication skills Provide high level of customer service Compensation.

Minimum pay starting at $17.00 per hour, plus weekly overtime and bonuses.

Starting hourly rates may be higher based on experience.

Annual pay for new hires generally ranges between $41,460 and $56,195 + depending on experience and overtime hours worked.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Lead positioning and messaging strategy, development and implementation for variety of BCBSA national programs to support BCBS companies in delivering a compelling value proposition to employers.

Manage the facilitation of a BSB Marketing Collaborative, including recruitment of participating BCBS companies, budget tracking, execution of strategic roadmap, and performance assessment; involving strong partnership with leadership at BCBS companies.

Guide and develop a high-performing team, raising visibility across BCBSA and with BCBS companies.

Foster engagement and manage relationships across internal stakeholder and collaborators, including alignment with operations, strategy, creative services, communications and legal teams; as well as external stakeholders and agency partners.

Partner with business owners on go-to-market strategy for new programs and capabilities.

Drive audience research and market intelligence initiatives with business decision makers and Plan stakeholders to ensure messaging and positioning are differentiated and aligned with employer priorities.

Qualifications

Take acknowledgments of deeds and other conveyances.

Execute jurat for affidavits.

Perform all duties in accordance with Notary Public Commission guidelines, codes, and regulations.

Maintain proper records as required by the state.

Comply with internal documentation in systems of record in regards to completing notarization duties.

Maintain one bound record book or journal (Notary Journal) with sequentially numbered pages and entries in which to record each notarial act performed.

Personally witness the signing of the applicable document(s) and Notary Journal by the borrower or any other person whose signature is being notarized.

Verify the signer’s identification at each signing regardless of whether the Notary knows the signer.

Note in the Notary Journal the time the notarial act was performed and include the thumbprint of the signer.

Complete the Notary Journal within a reasonable time period as necessary to ensure accuracy (Notary will strive to satisfy this requirement within the same day the notarization occurred).

Specify his or her role as “Notary Public” when an acknowledgment certification requires the notary to provide a “Title.” Keep their Notary Journals and stamps under their own lock and key.

No one except the notary is to have access to these materials.

Maintain a record, separate from the Notary Journal, of each notarial act performed on Foreclosure related documents for Company business.

At a minimum, such record should include: the identity of each person whose signature was notarized the date and time that the notarial act was performed, and the type of instrument/document sworn to, affirmed, acknowledged or proved before the notary.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee will view, have access to, and work with confidential financial data.

The employee in this position must adhere to strict confidentiality policies and procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned.
