The party don’t stop till I walk in.
The INTJ (via idealnerds)
What makes them feel uncomfortable and frustrated:
ENFP: They love dreams, possibilities, ideas and alternatives. Trying new things and taking on new projects excites them. Therefore, having someone belittling their ideas can be very disheartening and frustrating for them.
ISFJ: They thrive on routine and knowing what to expect at any given time. They are excellent planners who enjoy knowing how their week is going to unfold. A sudden change in plans without warning is therefore going to make them feel frustrated and uncomfortable.
ESFJ: Trolling. People who make statements or jokes for the sake of getting a reaction, angry or otherwise, can infuriate them. They see this kind of verbal manipulation as just another form of bullying and conflicts with their belief in showing kindness and respect to others.
ENTJ: People trying to control them or telling them what to do. They are fiercely independent and like to be leaders and free thinkers. Usually they make better bosses than employees.
INTP: Someone demanding respect because of their status or position without having earned it. They don’t aim to be disrespectful, they just feel that respect and admiration need to be earned.
ISTP: Emotional overreactions. ISTPs keep their emotions on a tight leash, and are surprised when others don’t do the same. They don’t like it when people have outbursts that seem disproportionate to the problem and it can make them seriously question their respect for you.
ISTJ: Not following through on your word. They take promises rather serious. What’s so good about this is that the promise of an ISTJ often means something.
INTJ: Small talk or being constantly interrupted. Their Ni is what connects the dots of life and form insights into their goals, dreams and theories. Ni requires personal space and/or energy, therefore interruptions are frustrating.
INFP: They don’t like people who are insensitive and arrogant because of their Fi dom. They don’t like pretentious people or people who act as someone they’re not because of their Fi dom (Fi = everyone are equal/being true to yourself, be who you are, don’t fake anything).
ENTP: People who don’t take a stand in arguments. ENTPs usually likes to argue, but how can they argue if you’re trying to be all nice and diplomatic and refuse to take a stand?
ESTJ: Basically inconsistent people and unreliability. They do not think fondly of those who are late, lazy, don’t meet deadlines and so on. Neither do they hold much love in their hearts for those who give up without really trying.
ESTP: They like to fix problems, so people who rant and complain without wanting to find a solution frustrates them. ESTPs are great when you want a solution and not that great if you need emotional support.
INFJ: Condescension. Do not mistake their quiet, sensitive nature as a sign of weakness. They dislike being talked down to, patronized or condescended to.
ENFJ: They have a sixth sense for phony behavior and they can’t stand dishonesty. Their Fe percieves minor changes in body language that communicates dishonesty, so they often notice when you lie and they don’t like it.
ISFP: They are strong believers in being genuine and authentic. This makes them distance themselves from manipulation. Behavior used to manipulate or gain attention will irritate them.
ESFP: Making long term plans frustrates them. They want to think about now and let later deal with itself, they don’t know what they’re doing in two years- Having to plan it out right now is stressing them. To them, long term goals are less idealistic than short term goals.
This bullshit is basically just modern horoscopes and I’m getting really sick of Tumble doing the whole cold reading nonsense act under the pretension of some imaginary psychological trivia.
Like, fuck me, name one person who doesn’t dislike being spoken down to, having their deeply-held beliefs and ideas shat on, or people who complain uselessly. That line about believing in authenticity is so gorgeously vague that I’m pretty sure it gets used as an archetypal example of this horseshit.
First of all, chill. Second, if you’ve read my blog describtion you’ll know that most of my posts are for fun. Third: I never claimed that it wouldn’t annoy only the given MBTI type. But the types are more inclided to be frustrated over this than other things and other types.
For example the ISTP thing: Emotional overreactions. If you come with an emotional overreaction to an xSTP, they are likely to be frustrated because they would rather try and find a solution instead of spending an unnecessary amount of time crying over it. If you come crying to an NF seeking only emotional support and wanting to find a solution later, they won’t be a bit frustrated.
Now take the ISFJ thing: Changing plans. If you change plans with for example an ENxP, they’re likely to be flexible. Of course, they’re not gonna be super happy, but their level of frustration is not even close to the level of frustration an ISFJ would feel.
Next, ESFPs: Long term plans that also could require commitments. They don’t like it. Make those plans with an xNTJ and they won’t mind at all.
So as I said, different types are more likely to be frustrated over some things than other types. I suggest you back up your claim a bit more before and instead of just calling it a “modern horoscop” and “bullshit”.
You say this is nonsense under the pretension of some imaginary psychological trivia. It’s not imaginary. MBTI is derived from jungian functions. Jungian functions are psychology.
Different intelligences
Bodily-kinesthetic intelligence: ESTP, ESFP, ISTP, ISFP Bodily kinesthetic intelligence is the capacity to manipulate objects and use a variety of physical skills. This intelligence also involves a sense of timing and the perfection of skills through mind–body union. Athletes, dancers, surgeons, and craftspeople exhibit well-developed bodily kinesthetic intelligence.
Linguistic intelligence: ESTJ, ENFP, ISTJ, INFP, INFJ, INTP Linguistic intelligence is the ability to think in words and to use language to express and appreciate complex meanings. Linguistic intelligence is the most widely shared human competence and is evident in poets, novelists, journalists, and effective public speakers.
Interpersonal intelligence: ENFP, ENTP, ENFJ, ESFJ, ESFP, ESTP, INFJ Interpersonal intelligence is the ability to understand and interact effectively with others. It involves effective verbal and nonverbal communication, the ability to note distinctions among others, sensitivity to the moods and temperaments of others, and the ability to entertain multiple perspectives.
Intra-personal intelligence: ENFJ, ESTJ, ISFJ Intra-personal intelligence is the capacity to understand oneself and one’s thoughts and feelings, and to use such knowledge in planning and directioning one’s life. Intra-personal intelligence involves not only an appreciation of the self, but also of the human condition.
Logical-mathematical intelligence: ENTJ, ENTP, INTJ, INTP, ISTP, ISFJ, ISTJ Logical-mathematical intelligence is the ability to calculate, quantify, consider propositions and hypotheses, and carry out complete mathematical operations. It enables us to perceive relationships and connections and to use abstract, symbolic thought; sequential reasoning skills; and inductive and deductive thinking patterns. Logical intelligence is usually well developed in mathematicians, scientists, and detectives.
Spatial intelligence: ENFP, ISFP, INFP, INTP, ISTP Spatial intelligence is the ability to think in three dimensions. Core capacities include mental imagery, spatial reasoning, image manipulation, graphic and artistic skills, and an active imagination.
Existential intelligence: INFJ, INTP, INTJ Sensitivity and capacity to tackle deep questions about human existence, such as the meaning of life, why do we die, and how did we get here. Curiosity and broad mindedness are pronounced.
The types as stereotypical anime protagonists:
ENTP: Spiky-haired teenage boy who gets in people’s faces all the time, is the head of some kind of sport organization at school, is probably late for class daily and gives motivational speaches to the people in his sport team.
INTJ: The dark-haired, cool twentysomething who sits at home and is unwillingly dragged into a magical adventure.
ESFJ: The super populare girl with impossible long hair whom everyone likes and who keeps talking about the power of friendship.
ISTJ: The heir to the dojo, the hard-working, decent son of a great father who will do everything to restore his family’s legacy.
INFP: The library nerd who has secret crushes on all the guys around her and doesn’t act on them, is trying and failing at being an artist.
ENFJ: The overly emotional character who obsesses over a passion, also a part of the ‘gives great inspirational speaches’ club.
ENFP: The fast-talking magical girl with an abnormal hair color who can’t decide which guy she likes. Arranges study groups with her friends to pass the exams, barely passes the exam and overreacts emotionally to everything.
ISFJ: The helpful, collected older sister who is surrounded by rash and wild younger kids. She knows it all, and tries her best to stay out of the huge conflict waiting to happen. Despite great effort and a dislike for personal drama she gets dragged into it.
ISTP: The scarred badass who survived wars, witnessed slaughters, carries a huge sword and talks to people in a low rumble. Never cries but secretly sweet.
ESTP: The wild, jumpy, all-over-the-place adventurer who rushes off to build his latest invention or discover the next magical crystal.
ESFP: The artistic teenage girl who runs around, crying and being dramatic and making an impact on the life of the dreary, serious older boy she likes.
The types as phobias
Pistanthrophobia, fear of trusting: ENTJ, INTJ, ISTP
Thantophobia, fear of losing someone you love: INFP, ISFP, ENFJ
Atychiphobia, the fear of incompetence: INTJ, INTP, ESTJ, ENTJ
Atelphobia, fear of imperfection: INFJ, ESTJ, ENFP, ENTJ
Kainotophobia, fear of changes: ISFJ, ISTJ, ESTJ
Autophobia, fear of being alone: ENFP, ESFJ, ESFP, ENFJ
Thaasaphobia, the fear of being bored: ENTP, ESTP, ENFP, INTP, INFP
ACTUALLY this is based on enneagram. Allow me to show the correlation.
Fear of trusting: phobic 6s, 5s, 4s, 2s, maybe 3s and maybe 9s (all of this would be expressed in different ways however)
Fear of losing someone you love: not sure about this one but wouldn’t anyone be afraid of losing someone they love?
The fear of incompetence: enneagram 5
The fear of imperfection: enneagram 1
Fear of changes: I’m going to say 6, 5, maybe 9, 1
Fear of being alone: 9 and 2
Fear of being bored: 7 and 8
Reblogging for the excellent new interpretation
ACTUALLY you can write about phobias and who’s more likely to have them in many ways. It’s not only based on enneagram. Your MBTI type can play a part in it to, especially if you stereotype.
Based on the values and what’s important to the type, different MBTI types are likely to have different kinds of phobias. Yes, enneagram plays a part in it. But so does also MBTI. You can say that an ENFP 1 (tho ENFP 1 is unlikely statistically) does not like to be incompetent. Here it is the enneagram that plays a part in it. But you could also say that an ENFP 1 does not like to be bored. Here, the MBTI part plays a role in it.
So actually, you’re wrong. Boths are correct.
Also my blog is based on MBTI, which is why I made it with MBTI types and not enneagram. Reblogging to include the enneagram aspect, since I also like enneagram.
Form of the inferior functions.
I’d like to recommend a good and informative article describing all the inferior functions for everyone who are interested in MBTI. The article also offers comparison of the function as dominant and inferior, making it easier for you to see the bigger picture and understand what’s different from the dom and inf version of the function. If you want to read more about it, you can find several good links to other articles about the topic at the top of the article.
http://www.the16types.info/vbulletin/content.php/135-MBTI-Form-of-the-Inferior-Functions
How inferior Te (IxFP) can outplay as anger.
Should an Introverted Feeling type (IxFP) be angered enough over time, the characteristic tolerance, flexibility and quiet carong diminishes as the energy available to their dominant Introvert Feeling shrinks.
“I lose my concern for harmony, my connection with my inner values,” said an INFP. An ISFP said he “searches for conflict and forgets about others' feelings.”
ISFPs may also lose access to their auxiliary Sensing function. “I react quickly without finding out any facts,” said one. INFPs may similarly lose sight of their auxiliary Intuition. One INFP said that she “cannot process information, thoughts, or ideas” and becomes “focused on detail, making elaborate plans that are unnecessary.”
Initially, INFPs and ISFPs may control their urge to blurt out hostile thoughts by engaging in destructive fantasies directed at just about anyone available. Alternatively, they may employ biting sarcasm and cynicism. As these tactics fail, the negative Extraverted Thinking of their inferior function becomes manifested in judgments of incompetence, aggressive criticism, and precipitous action.
Stereotyping gifs of MBTI
I’ve forgotten how far I’ve come so I’m dropping the number in the end.

INTJ
When an INTJ feels awkward or uncomfortable, they try to play it off with a pun or change the subject almost immediately. But don’t think that they won’t remember this moment for the rest of their lives. They’ll dread on it.

ENFP: Unhealthy vs healthy
Unhealthy ENFP “OMG, I’m like so quirky. No one gets me - I’m just so weird. I like glitter and coloring in coloring books. I’m just a big kid at heart, trampolines are so much fun! Sorry, I’m so random.” “I’m late, as always! Whoops! Good thing you guys know I live in my own timezone.” “No one gets how hard my life is. I just want to be me, but it’s hard to be me and be a functional member of society. I just feel like I wasn’t designed to function in this time period.” Very self-centered and selfish. Flaky as hell. Irresponsible. Moody.
Healthy ENFP Self-aware, doesn’t focus on how “unique” or “weird” they are, may still be moody but able to deal with it on their own. More punctual as it’s disrespectful to be late, responsible, less flaky as they have a better grasp on what is and is not a good investment of time and are less likely to over-commit themselves.
how to be healthy?
The levels of unhealthiness in an MBTI type depend on whether there is overdevelopment or underdevelopment in the jungian/cognitive functions. They can be out of balance in three ways. If your functions are in a loop, you mainly use your dominant and tertiary functions, while suppressing the auxiliary function. You can also be in the grip, which is when you depend on your inferior function (which is the most poorly developed of the cognitive functions). This usually occurs during times of stress or a lot of negativity. You can also have underdeveloped functions. That means you’re not in a loop, you’re not in the grip, one of your functions are simply underdeveloped. An example of this is an ISTP with a weak inferior Fe, leading them to be out of touch with their emotions, a bit egoistical and a little insensitive.
If you think you’re unhealthy, you need to figure out what kind of unhealthy you are and work with yourself. Identify your weak functions and exercise them.
Keep in mind that age can play a part in how well your functions are developed, how often you exercise your functions can play a part in it and so on. I reccommend reading http://mbti-notes.tumblr.com/development for a better understanding of functions, function interactions and their development. I’d also reccomend googling it, the internet is full of information. Just remember to be critical of what you read.
ENFP: Unhealthy vs healthy
Unhealthy ENFP "OMG, I'm like so quirky. No one gets me - I'm just so weird. I like glitter and coloring in coloring books. I'm just a big kid at heart, trampolines are so much fun! Sorry, I'm so random." "I'm late, as always! Whoops! Good thing you guys know I live in my own timezone." "No one gets how hard my life is. I just want to be me, but it's hard to be me and be a functional member of society. I just feel like I wasn't designed to function in this time period.” Very self-centered and selfish. Flaky as hell. Irresponsible. Moody.
Healthy ENFP Self-aware, doesn't focus on how "unique" or "weird" they are, may still be moody but able to deal with it on their own. More punctual as it's disrespectful to be late, responsible, less flaky as they have a better grasp on what is and is not a good investment of time and are less likely to over-commit themselves.
Unhealthy behaviour - NTs
INTJ: An astonishing amount of arrogance yet total lack of social grace, tend to scoff at the idea of love or believe themselves unloveable. Mature INTJs have figured out there's no objective measure of the worth of someone (intelligence, salary, achievement, and so on).
INTP: “My beliefs are right, mine.” Poorly processing their own emotions/emotions of others. Being argumentative to the point that it pisses people off, especially over trivial thing. Poorly organized. A healthy INTP has a stronger emotional understanding for both themselves and others. Less argumentative over trivial things and overall more contrastive and open minded to other's ideas.
ENTJ: Immature ENTJs believes that being out of touch with their feelings and being tactless makes one superior. They believe that everyone should default to their will without having to prove their leadership and skill. Mature ENTJs are open to criticism from all angles. Emotionally intelligent. Leads by example.
ENTP: Unhealthy ENTPs are concentrating their energy (Ne) to acquire validation from people (Fe) or devoting their thinking (Ti) towards spreading information (Ne) to elicit a certain reaction from people (Fe), which can either manifest itself as trolling, manipulation, or insincerity. Other unhealthy ENTP things are an uncharacteristic focus on small details, demanding control over routines and having trouble remembering daily tasks or memories. This can lead them to become introverted, anxious, and narrow-minded, which is not their typical character.
Types when flirting af
ENTJ: Glorifies themselves and brags in hopes of attaining interest. Prefers to be the chaser.
INTJ: Laughs at jokes and smiles the same way they do with friends, so it’s a bit hard to tell if they’re actually flirting. (Surprise!)
ENTP: Doesn’t even try.
INTP: Most likely to be a romantical ball of poems and seranades. Tries to lure you in with their intelligence.
ENFP: Obvious body language, lots of eye contact, tries to connect with you. Enjoys being the chaser.
INFP: Really sweet and put together over text, an awkward mess in person.
ENFJ: Is super smooth and good at flirting and somehow ends up being close friends instead.
INFJ: Incredible skills of understanding other human beings and the art of socializing suddenly fails them. Awkwardness all the way.
ESFJ: Will try and show you how many friends they have to increase their value.
ISFJ: If they really like you, they will overcome their shyness and want to spend as much time with you as possible.
ESTJ: Waits for the perfect opportunity and plays hard to get.
ISTJ: Doesn’t play games or anything. Just blunt and to the point.
ESTP: Push and pull, doesn’t mind playing games to keep it interesting and keeping you on your toes.
ISTP: Just body language. They’re not a “romantical ball” like the INTPs and go for the “if you are unable to say it with words, say it with your body” approach.
ESFP: They will try and make you enjoy the moment by using humor or excitement while at the same time drawing your attention towards them.
ISFP: Tries their best to be an ESFP and ends up being a flustered INFP or INFJ.
Why I don’t always include every MBTI type in my posts.
Do you want me to shitpost and write things that are not true about MBTI types, contributing to misinformation? Me neither. I’ve said it before and I say it again, so pls don’t PM me about it: If I don’t feel confident in my knowledge or like I don’t know an MBTI type well enough to write about them, then I won’t write about them. Neither do I have to include all types at all times. It can be hard figuring out how all the other types work, so usually I’m content with understanding most of them if I can’t understand everyone.
It’s not because of bias or dislike towards any type. Sometimes it’s gonna be ESTPs. Sometimes it’s gonna be INFJs. Sometimes it’s even gonna be my own MBTI type, ENFP.
I’d rather be insanely accurate with a few types than somewhat close to the truth with all the types.
Feeling things with inferior Fi/Fe
Friendly reminder that even though it may not look like it from their type describtion or the inferior Fi/Fe in their function stack: ESTJs, ENTJs, ISTPs and INTPs have feelings.
They can be hurt, just like you. They can feel things, just like you. They just don’t show it as much as you or base their choices that much on their emotions. They are very capable of loving, crying, laughing, showing and feeling every other emotion that it is possible to feel.
