“ That’s our destination then! Off we go!” they smiled lightly and started walking. “ I mean, if you want me to join you-of course.”

“You told me to pet you,” he reminded them with a smirk. “You’d be the most mischievous cat I’ve ever seen. Even more than Catsby, and that’s saying something.”
“ I subtely told you to pet me- you shouldn’t have gotten the idea.” they joked lightly.” But, I’d be a cute cat! Wouldn’t you like to have such a cat? I think you’d love me.”

“Oh, thank you! She’s black, and she has this weird thing with her eyes. One’s blue, and one’s green.”
“ Weird thing? That’s beautiful as f-flowers!” Marlene cheered. “ Alright, I think I saw her going outside the castle. Have you ever caught her there?”

| — NARROWING his dark eyes, Antonin had to physically restrain himself with the pain of digging his nails into the palm of his hand to keep from snapping at her. “McKinnon. It’s a brush. I do not care, just take it and keep quiet.”
They rolled their eyes and threw the brush back to him or more like into him with a shake of her head. “ Forget it. Take it and stuck it somewhere else. If you want to do something good- you’d better not be grumpy about it after.”

“Then we will have to do with the dried one from the cabinet, but I’m telling you, it won’t be the same,” she chuckled.
“ Alright, alright...”they jumped from one stone to another just like a little child. “ Let’s search that way- I always find Moly Plant there.”

“Pet you? Did I miss something?” he laughed. “Maybe if we did, you’d be causing less mischief.”Ted reached out and patted Marlene’s hair with a grin.
“ Did you just-” the blonde opened her mouth then closed it ️️️️ ️️️️ ️️a little amused. “ What am I now? A cat, obviouly- but what breed?”

“Well I’m not good. What’s number two?” Blake hates having to ask for advice.
“ You mean as in the second step of the Potion?”

As in you obviously have me confused for someone else since you’re asking me for help.” Lacking in the friend department, he wasn’t really sure why she’d chosen him of all people to ask. Exasperated, he silently went through his collection of brushes, hoping to find a clean one so he wouldn’t hear her complain. “Here. Keep it.”
“ Nop, I have totally got the right person.” they responded even if it probably would have been better to let it be, she wasn’t sure why he had thought that in the first place. “ Are you sure? I need it for just a minute, you don’t need to sacrifice your brushes for me.You might need it one day and curse me for not having it.”

“Possibly. If it’s not too much trouble.”
“ Of course it isn’t-how does she look like?”

“Yes! Also some horklumps, flubberworms and mint,” Pandora nodded. “I’m sure we can find all those fresh in the forest.”
“ And if we don’t?” she asked, their eyes searching for the said plants carefully.

“Okay I will. But if James hasn’t matured, I will blame you if the date is awful.” She chuckled lightly. Lily knew that Marlene was right about James, Lily has seen the change in him recently, which is why she was considering dating him.
“ And I will honestly take the burden- at least you tried. That’s a big step and I’m proud of you.” the blonde smiled towards her friend. “ Great! And finally.”

| — PECULIARLY unaware of his surroundings, the Ravenclaw kept his dark gaze fixated on the small canvas that stood proudly before him with no real understanding of that which did not pertain to the oil paints that stained his fingers and brush and previously white surfaces. The rhythmic pitter-patter of rain kept him in some cadence, brush strokes matching the tempo easily. Only when a feeling more than anything else broke his concentration did Antonin turn and give a blank stare to his companion. “Can I help you with someone?”
“ With someone?” Marlene asked confused as they were seating not far away from the other- their canvas was already painted with a portrait with someone they’ve seen the morning before. “ I rather need help with something- do you have a slightly angular flat brush? I think I’ve lost mine.”

“Are you coming? The ingredients for the Potions homework won’t gather themselves!” she called over her shoulder before turning around and continuing towards the Forbidden Forest. Yes, they had all the ingredients dried and bottled up available in the castle, but she always preferred them fresh.
“ Of course I’m coming, Pan!” they called back- running after their friend with a laugh. “ So, what ingredient do we need to find first? Moly plant?”

“Hey…are you any good at potions?” Blake asked as she leaned toward you in the library.
“ If good means that I have Exceed Expectations and haven’t blow up something in weeks-then,yes.” They made a dramatic pause.”Yes, I am.And why?”

“Stop! Violet, come back!” Andromeda yelled, as she chased after her cat.
“ Do you need any help in finding...Violet?”

Helena made sure to use all her strength to keep Marlene up. It was hard, but they got up to the common room safely. Helena led Marlene to a couch. “Here we go.”
Marlene smiled towards her fellow gryffindor before bumping herself down the couch. “ Thank you so much- tell you what,I’ll get you some cookies in exchange as you just saved my life.”

“Awesome,” he grinned. “That really helps me sleep better at night.” A laughter escaped his lips as he shook his head. “But you know, if you ever need anything, you know where to find me. You don’t have to take care of yourself all the time, Marly, you’ve got friends to do that for you from time to time.”
“Well, I couldn’t let you think of me so much after all...” they trailled of jokingly, of course. “ I know, don’t worry. I am just hoping I don’t bug anyone with my constant need of someone to literally pet me- my parents are already sick of me. And no, I wasn’t joking at the pet thing-sometimes I think I am dog that has as Anigami a person.”
