ANNALISE
“I’m not using any tone,” Annalise protested, pouting at her sister’s scowl. She did not often argue with her sister, but the events at the festival of lights had certainly caused Annalise far more stress than usual. “Of course I would consider it,” she said, jumping only slightly when she felt Cecily’s fingers close around her wrist, “but you said it yourself. We’re supposed to have already been back in our chambers.” Now that she had been caught, she was far more sheepish and hesitant about being out of her chambers past when she should have been.
♚ — “you absolutely were using a tone but i’ll OVERLOOK it,” she tauntingly answered her younger sister, finding it amusing that she as stressed for no REASON. she pretended that she hadn’t felt her sister jump, otherwise it would be another issue of concern. cecily had been fed up with ISSUES, they dealt with a lot of particulars that didn’t interest the princess when she was concerned with a m u s e m e n t. “let’s set the curfew aside since we already out in the castle, anna. i believe we both could use a large chalice of wine right now.”
