Thinking about Adam and Eve from Hazbin got me thinking about how Paradise Lost portrays their relationship, and let me just say that if the two's relationship in Hazbin Hotel isn't this then what's even the point?
Just...Adam eating the fruit and leaving Eden for Eve's sake so she wouldn't have to be alone purely out of love and devotion to her. Just the two of them living together against an oft cruel and unforgiving world, having no other reference points besides their own experiences, doing their best to raise a family in the wild, growing even closer than before due to their shared hardships.
After death Adam discovering Eve has been sent down into the pit while he ascends to heaven, a truth that drives him utterly mad with grief and loneliness, creating the monster we see in the present day.
Then, when Adam returns(and he BETTER, VIVZIE) as a sinner and reunites with her, Adam once again chooses a difficult life with Eve in a dangerous, unfamiliar place over a life without her in paradise, because even literal hell with her is preferable to living in literal heaven without her.
Don't tell me these two have the potential to be THE sweetest pairing in the show.

I originally had a much more complicated idea that involved having photos(memories) floating or hanging on the walls but, in addition the technical difficulties of such a concept, it felt too cluttered and distracted when I sketched it out. I also toyed with the lighting a lot and wasn't sure what he should be wearing. Ultimately, I wanted to keep it simple and direct while still evoking a feeling of foreboding.
This isn't a recreation of a specific scene, but this version of Hunter is most in line with early chapters (based on his hair and that he's standing).
Blue lights are a recurring motif in FP; here it represents the way Hunter's past is following close behind, and that it's still there whether or not he's willing or ready to face it.

here's a full concept art of my human!Blitzwinger, I've finished it just a day ago!
in my conception, the TFA universe with humanformers is grounded in cyberpunk — after all, you can't rely solely on the "flesh-and-blood" element in a setting where high technology drives the plot. and so, Blitzwing has implants. lots of implants. his entire chest cavity is packed with them. this way, I attempted to draw a parallel with the triple-changing procedure Blackarachnia performed on him, and here's the result:
Blackarachnia literally pulled him back from the brink of death; Blitzwing had sustained critical chest injuries and even experienced a brief period of brain death. the prosthetics Blackarachnia installed allowed her to bring him back to life, but his brain had already suffered irreversible damage — a condition that ultimately led to his mental instability.
in fact, Blitz is the only person who has ever been successfully brought back from the dead — just as originally he's the only known triple changer.
but enough with the gloom. just look at this badass gun. single barrel, two modes — depending on which tank it's fed from. you can flood and freeze a skating rink in a couple of minutes, or you can burn down the entire forest all the way to Lake Erie. pretty damn cool, iznit?

Hazbin Masterpost
So I just tried a few different options, and haven't decided on one. Feel free to share opinions on them.
I tried a few different styles that have the same general vibe as the ones from the show. The top row I kept closer to the original colors, just to focus on the style. I know I drew Vaggie reversed from the direction it was in the show. The way I had posed her for the drawing just worked better to show it that way. I can reverse it later if necessary.
Second row I just made a couple slight color adjustments. For example, I don't like the white edge of her top being right next to her literally white skin. Hot mess indeed. I also tried out some gloves and boots/leggings for Vaggie.
This next page was experimenting more with colors. I just picked a dress to use for it. It's not necessarily the one I settled on. For Vaggie, I think I'm leaning toward either the top middle or top right. For Charlie, I don't really know which I prefer.
Oh! Or I could do something for Vaggie where it's closer to her commercial outfit/pilot 30s dress.
I fr forgot to post my doodle page here! Well I finished this many months and I just love how silly these doodles are. I even have a few personal favorites being Sari with Headphones and The Monarch whispering into Megamind's ear uwu.
