As much as Lando missed Daniel, he couldn't deny that he was wildly intrigued by his new teammate. It was more than normal for a rookie - especially one with Oscar's temperament - to be reserved and keep to himself the first couple months, but that almost made it more of a game in Lando's eyes. He loved getting to figure him out like some odd puzzle, taking mental notes of his personality quirks and routines, studying him like a bug under a microscope.
His quiet, introverted nature only made it a thousand times more surprising when he broke out of it in small moments. It kept Lando on his toes, really. He loved it.
Lando was walking through the lobby of the MTC having just wrapped up a session on the sim, humming absentmindedly to himself on his way to the engineering room. He hadn't seen Oscar all morning, figuring he'd just been busy with his own meetings - which made it all more surprising when he suddenly saw him turn around the corner.
Wearing, to Lando's delight, seemingly absolutely nothing except a towel wrapped around his waist.
As soon as their eyes met Oscar's expression contorted, his face flushing pink near immediately -but they were walking directly towards each other, there wasn't exactly an escape route.
"Getting real comfortable here already, huh?" Lando teased with a grin once they were a couple metres away, relishing how Oscar couldn't seem to hold eye contact out of sheer embarrassment.
"It's- uh, the shower in my room wasn't working, so I had to use the downstairs one, and, um, I didn't know if there was- I just-"

Pre-season prep was getting busier and busier with every day that passed, both Lando and Oscar spending horrendously long hours going over data, doing sim runs, training in every way they could whenever time allowed.
Lando was on his way back his room after meeting Jon to go over edits to his workout schedule, his full attention focused into replying to a text from Zak while he walked down the private hallway.

"Fuck, I'm so sorry, I wasn't paying attention, I- is your phone okay?" Oscar rushed out, his face quickly growing red.

"All good. I wasn't looking either," he replied, bending over to pick up his phone and checking for cracks. After sticking it into his pocket, he gave Oscar a quick once-over, who still seemed mortified. "Shower still broken?"
Oscar looked like he wanted to crawl out of his skin while he shifted his weight between his feet.
"No, I was just, uh- like, I was working out downstairs, and I figured I might as well use the shower there since I was right next to it," he replied sheepishly, the grip he had on his towel now tight enough to have his knuckles going white.
"Gonna start thinking you've a thing for exhibitionism if you keep it up," Lando replied with a smirk. The thought of it made his head spin - his quiet, meek rookie teammate secretly getting off on people seeing him like that, walking around in practically nothing just to make everyone look.
A quiet noise left Oscar's throat while he shook his head, his face going impossibly redder. But he still wasn't walking away, not retreating into his room even though he was only steps away from it.
"...I don't."
His response came after too long a pause for Lando to not question it.
Slowly, he took a step closer to Oscar, inhaling deeply, wondering how far he could push him on this without scaring him off.
"So you're telling me you don't like me seeing you like this?" He asked, taking another step forward, hardly any space left between them now.
Oscar turned his head away while his mouth hung open, words clearly not finding him.
After glancing down at Oscar's lips, letting his gaze linger there briefly, he finally stepped away. Not into his own room, but straight into Oscar's - feeling fully confident that he'd follow him in.
And, just as he thought, Oscar was pushing his way inside before the door had even shut behind Lando.
Feeling entirely pleased with himself, adrenaline coursing through every cell of his body, Lando stuck his hands into his pockets while he watched Oscar stand awkwardly in the entryway. When he looked down this time, there was no missing the unmistakable tent in the fabric of the towel - Lando was practically drooling, desperate for him to drop it, to watch him fall apart.
He made his way over to him slowly, stepping closer to him than he had the last time, their faces only inches away from each other. One hand found its way to the hem of Oscar’s towel, the other to the small of his waist, drawing a pathetic little whimper out of him immediately.
