my trusty partner, the electric fan
this would accompany me regardless of the weather, time, or assignment. and i'm glad to be able to use this for more than 5 years. you may say it's my biggest fan! i should probably clean it soon, though

the thrill of creating again
while it's difficult to struggle recovering from a burnout, i'm finally feeling a bit of happiness trying to create things again. it's not as smooth as expected, but there is progress.

the comfort of clean sheets
something to really appreciate in a place of rest and sleep.

a fire tree at night
this is the second out of two phone photographs that i took. this treen really looked beautiful both at day and night, but i thought it was more fascinating to observe it at night. this was taken when i was able to leave home again for a few days.

one april evening
time has been a really tricky thing over the last two years. this was one of the things that guided (and confused) me.

daily lists
despite this notebook being tiny, this is one of the things that really gave structure to my days in this pandemic. i've owned this notebook since 2016, and i have many more pages to go!

the vibrant promise of a new sprout
seeing a new shoot or growing leaf is always so exciting, whether you're an experienced plant parent or a beginner. i happen to be the latter, so you could imagine my enthusiasm when i saw a lighter green instead of brown.

the corner in my room that makes me smile
this is the area that i always see in my peripheral vision while im working. seeing my sling bag with the fluffy keychain makes me excited since it's the character one of my favorite members from BTS which i bought when i hung out with a friend.

the excitement of going outside again after a while
this is one out of two photos that I have taken using my cellphone, not my camera. this was during my family's the trip back from Laguna after meeting my great grandmother (wow, people could live for so long!) she told me to: avoid too much meat, eat lots of vegetables, don't over-ruminate, read and write, and have faith in God.

the simple yet elegant design of a door handle
isn't it fascinating that we use these so frequently everyday that it almost becomes an unconscious habit? it's really wonderful how these help us get into different rooms.

the mess of a student's desk
surprisingly enough this was the first photo i ever took in the process of the project-making! although there is no clear focal point in terms of the subject, it can pretty much communicate that i was really busy that time. i also thought that i captured the artificial lighting well as it's my intention to capture what i see as accurately as i can to my personal sight.

afternoon tree lighting
it's probably clear that 4:00-5:00 pm is one of my favorite times to photograph the environment outside my window. everything was pleasantly lit, and i loved seeing the various shades of green on this tree (i have yet to ask what kind of tree that is).

current reads
these are a few books that i'm currently reading. i haven't finished them, so they're just sitting on my shelf. i do hope i manage to complete these before i start attending onsite classes.

a photo of my favorite drink (used for a different project)
i took this photo for my typography major requirement (we had to design book covers) and since the novel i intended to design was about a magic coffee shop with an interesting service of time travel, i took a photo of coffee in a cappuccino cup that my best friend gave me as a gift years back.

study materials in the dead of night
i took this photo late at night as i was on a break from working on a different class requirement and it was oddly a calming experience. sometimes i really like this, even if the timing is off. i have to accept the random moments of peace amidst the stress and chaos of the online setup.

light entering my bathroom window
i just noticed that the color made the photo look a lot more somber or somewhat fearful than i hoped it to be. this isn't the case though, i want to express how i really appreciate how enough light can pass through the window without having to turn the light switch on.
