Tonight was a special one. The last time we were in Melbourne, we had to cancel the remainder of our Australian tour due to a medical emergency with my sweet niece. A scary day for my bro, and for our family, and I wrote a song about it called “what it costs.” Well, today was a celebration. A celebration that my niece is a miracle, and a celebration that every breathe is a gift. I had the chance to play my song for the first time in the city that it was written, and it was healing. The sun was shining today, the sold-out crowd was buoyant, and we were moved. Thank you, Melbourne.
