Medea was taking a break from training a 11 year old student they had paired with her. She had handed her off to another trainer and the one they had paired her charge up with, while she went to the grand hall. She had walked into the room and noticed Cato watching from a window into the training room. He was closer to where the marmalade was kept so she merely asked him to pass it. She had grown up a victor's daughter and then she had won the 69th games. She knew there was mixed feelings about that in the district, either way it was a district 2 victory and her need to survive and get home beat her partner's need. She was just used to the push back. She didn't want to train people, she preferred just being the mentor that parted sponsors with their money, she didn't want or need to grow to care for her trainees. She walked over to the marmalade cabinet with a shrug moving with practiced ease. "Busy with what?" she asked unscrewing the cap and grabbing a knife to put it on the bread. "I know Brutus is taking the day off, and I don't think he handed you off to a different trainer today." She spread the marmalade out, put the knife down, putting the two pieces of toast together and munched on it before turning and eyeing him up. He was everything Brutus had bragged about when the victors had hung out planning different strategies.
