Six months of progress: How Mediaferry has continued to evolve in 2026
Every software platform evolves. The best ones evolve alongside their customers.
As we reach the halfway point of 2026, it’s a good opportunity to look back at how Mediaferry has continued to develop. While every release includes dozens of improvements, the real story isn’t the number of features shipped. It’s how those updates fit together to create a faster, more intuitive creative production platform.
The foundations were laid during the final months of 2025, when we focused on making SmartDesign AI more flexible, introducing AI-powered print workflows, improving Brand Memory, enhancing video editing, and making campaign creation significantly easier. Those releases established a platform capable of supporting increasingly sophisticated creative production.
During the first half of 2026, that focus shifted from building individual capabilities to creating a more connected, intelligent production experience.
Smarter creative production from a single request
One of the biggest milestones this year has been expanding SmartDesign AI beyond individual asset creation.
Users can now generate Digital, Video and Print assets from a single Design Request, with each channel processing independently and notifying users as soon as it’s complete.
Rather than creating each asset individually, teams can now launch an entire campaign from one request.
We’ve also introduced Unified Campaign previews, allowing stakeholders to review all creative variations through a single shared link, making collaboration and approvals considerably simpler.
More control over creative output
As AI becomes more capable, creative teams still expect control over the final outcome.
Throughout 2026 we’ve introduced numerous features that allow users to shape creative production more precisely, including:
Manual template selection
Improved template diversity
Team-specific default package sizes
Favorite package configurations
Enhanced template previews for both Print and Video
Richer template libraries featuring new typography, textured backgrounds, unique layouts and modern design styles
Behind the scenes we’ve also continued refining template selection logic, reducing inappropriate template choices while improving brand consistency across multiple creative options.
Better Brand Memories, better campaigns
Brand Memory remains at the heart of SmartDesign AI.
Recent updates have made it easier to build richer Brand Memories by automatically generating assets from websites, scraping content directly from URLs, supporting more file types, and improving handling of brand names containing special characters.
We’ve also made campaign creation more intuitive by allowing Brand Memories to be updated directly during campaign creation, reducing unnecessary steps in the workflow.
Continued investment in video
Video continues to receive significant attention.
Recent improvements include:
Automatic language selection based on customer location
Expanded voice options
Improved voiceover editing
Better synchronization between audio and video
More reliable video generation
Smarter stock video selection
Better thumbnail navigation
Enhanced campaign previews
We’ve also laid the groundwork for more advanced editing capabilities through improved template management and workflow enhancements.
A smoother experience throughout the platform
Many of the most valuable improvements aren’t headline features. They’re the countless usability enhancements that save users time every day.
Over the last six months we’ve delivered improvements including:
Better onboarding experiences
Built-in help videos
Activity reporting
Campaign history
Live project status tracking
Better sharing and notifications
Improved search
Faster campaign duplication
More consistent navigation
Greater platform stability
Collectively these changes remove friction from everyday creative production.
Listening to customer feedback
Many of this year’s improvements originated directly from customer feedback.
Whether it’s better campaign previews, AdTag compatibility, configurable package sizes, more intuitive template selection, or workflow enhancements, customer input continues to shape our roadmap.
That collaborative approach allows us to solve real production challenges instead of simply adding features.
Looking ahead
The first half of 2026 has been about making SmartDesign AI more intelligent, more connected, and more flexible.
We’ve expanded from generating individual assets to orchestrating complete multi-channel campaigns. We’ve given creative teams greater control while continuing to automate repetitive production work. And we’ve invested heavily in usability, ensuring the platform becomes easier to use as it becomes more powerful.
As we move into the second half of the year, our focus remains the same: helping creative teams produce high quality, on-brand content faster, while continuing to remove friction from every stage of the creative production process.
