Choking Emergency? Act Fast, Save a Life!
Choking can happen anytime, and acting quickly can save a life. If someone is unable to breathe, speak, or is clutching their throat with signs like bluish lips or silent coughing, it’s a serious emergency. In such cases, give 5 back blows followed by 5 chest thrusts, and continue repeating until the airway is cleared or help arrives. If the person becomes unconscious, start CPR immediately. Avoid common mistakes like putting fingers in the mouth, delaying action, or panicking.
