If you own a first aid kit, it’s a great idea to inspect them every six months. Inspecting them at the beginning and half way through the year helps keep you up to date on meds, Over The Counter (OTC) meds, equipment, supplies, gloves if they need to be replace due to expiration or no longer serviceable. Any items considered no longer safe for use such as gauze, tourniquets, etc can be used for training purposes once replaced.
