Does anyone else have sneaking suspicions that SOME authors use AI for their stories?

Im not accusing anyone but some of the writing styles and use of EM dashes are lowkey giving AI😭

Again!! I know some authors use em dashes and AI takes from real life writers and adapts to different writing styles but istg there are stories that just feel AI

If anyone is wondering why that AI post is the only post i have is because i js wanted to talk abt it 😭 i aint abt to sell anyone anything or accuse someone soecific of using AI I was just making an observation of a fact on a current issue rn and its getting ppls balls twisted,

Im for artist and for writers, otherwise i wouldn’t have made that post dogging on AI.

- In no way have i claimed that ALL writing (with certain bits) is AI

- I HAVE acknowledged that AI takes its formats from real people

- I haven’t singled anyone out or publicly assumed that a SPECIFIC person was using AI

I JUST wanted to STATE an observation and maybe have some conversation about it to maybe try and relieve or learn about the issue more.

Again I DONT CARE if people use AI just dont post it, and claim it as your own.

then i'm afraid you didn't understand what i was talking about at all. i'm saying that you noticing few quirks ai stole from real writers and going #nooticer mode is driving real writers up the wall. as an artist or a writer we already can't do so many things (from warm hues to proper grammar) because of people who used AI before in ANY kind of way. yes its obvious when people steal from AI for their works, the way characters are ooc can be very telling, AI works have no soul — but to talk about proper grammar being AI is just crazy

Read the second part of my og post too :), I never said in any way that ALL works with proper grammar or em dashes are AI its just a known fact that AI overuses em dashes because most of the AI training formats use em dashes and repeat certain statements within its writing

I dont care if people use AI the ONLY problem i have with it is when SOME people use it, post it, then claim it as their own because this also diminishes other artist and writers who actually put real work and time into their own works, im not in any way accusing people DIRECTLY for using AI but im also not going to ignore the issue and stay silent about it because it creates problems, (like you mentioned with em dashes and writing cues slowly becoming inaccesible because AI uses it)

Everyone has different writing styles, and you said it yourself, AI works are very easy to tell. THOSE are the types of works and authors im pointing out in my original posts, the one who uses AI and claims it as their own. My og post was never meant to attack actual authors who dedicate a lot of their time and creative minds into creating things for other people to enjoy. it seems like you also missed the bigger picture with my post and when in all honesty im just trying to raise awareness and conversation on this topic because AI is genuinley becoming a problem.

Im so sorry if any of your works got accused for being AI if ever, but youre also lowkey projecting and putting words in my mouth. when I made it clear in my OG post that i wasnt ignorant to the fact that em dashes and proper grammar is widely used among real writers. BUT it is also very common in AI writings.

i think your old habit just pushes through and makes you paranoid that other writers could be using ai when you notice one or two patterns.. however, i wouldn't go around with baseless accusations given that's like the #1 way to drive actual writers off of this platform and stop the flow of creativity altogether. people are afraid their hardwork will be labeled as ai and then get hate-trained on

Literally mentioned no one btw! And im not going to be some asshole and falsely accuse people 😭🙏 im literally just stating an observation thats unfortunately becoming reality with how much AI is becoming more accessible now
