5/20
5/19/22 - Favorite
My favorite thing about this quarter has to be the friendships that I made. I genuinely love every one in my class and could not have asked for a better group of people to have spent the quarter with. Specifically, the nights that we spent at Fireside is where we really got to get to know each other. Even though Fireside is a literal trap, it is the best possible trap because I do not regret any of the late nights (and into the morning) that I spent there. Another top tier memory has to be the 24 hour lockin, where we as a class came together and set the tone for the rest of the quarter. Love yall.
JP: The homie Alan had a morning to night type of day today. From the moment he woke up until now he was constantly doing something. I respect that he always has time to think about others even through these stressful times.
The homie Gabi had a tough day in quarantine as she misses everyone. I really hope she is out soon so that we can finally be in her beautiful presence again.
5/18/22 - My Significant Other
There are many things to like about my SO. If I had to pick one favorite, it would this said person’s unwavering eye contact when this said person looks into my eyes after calling my name: “Mr. Min”. The thing that I disliked most about this said person is that I was not able to see this said person’s complete beautiful face until recently due to the covering of a mask. So unfortunate.
JP: The homie Gabi unfortunately came back positive once again so she has to quarantine until the next negative test. I really feel for her at this moment as this is a busy week that she is missing out on. The only thing keeping her sane right now is her milk boxes. Gabi is my role model lowkey <3.
The homie Alan had two midterms today, but one got pushed back until later thankfully. His first midterm went swell, so I am happy for him for that. I only wish the best for my JP Alan Huang <3.
5/17/22 - Portrait of KPN
My humble portrait of Kadee is to the best of my abilities and does not do her justice. I want to formally apologize to Kadee for this injustice of a drawing. Nonetheless, I tried to give her a caring look because she is honestly one of the most kind-hearted individuals that I know. She has a soft spirit accompanied by her soft voice. She is also very in tune with how others are feeling, and in this way she can relate and uplift others. One last thing is that I included a picture of oolong milk tea because that is her ultimate favorite thing to drink!
JP: The homie Alan grinded all day for his physics midterm tomorrow. He also made sure to complete his tasks before running at night.
The homie Gabi continued her quarantine journey by drinking more milk and doing work. Hopefully, she will be able to get our by tomorrow!
5/17/22 - Christmas Wishlist

JP: The homie Alan woke up with a cough and thought he had covid. Fortunately, he did not so instead he did work all day.
The homie Gabi did not sleep very well an her body is sore from the covid housing bed, but she grinded work today. She also drank a lot of milk today and discovered that milk boxes hit different.

5/14/22
Today was a pretty terrible day because I felt nauseous the whole time. I woke up really early to go to the HAPY fair, which was nice but it was extremely hot. Then, I went to the apartments to do some rooftop cleaning. However, I felt even more nauseous here so I had to sit out for awhile. Following this, I went back to the dorms where I napped for a bit before grabbing dinner with a friend. I went to bplate where the soup really helped to ease my stomach aches. After, I went to fireside to hang out with my friends.
The homie Gabi unfortunately got covid and had to go into isolation. She is not able to get some rest, but she also is now stuck so I am hoping that she can keep her hopes up. Rest up Gabi!
The homie Alan went to the HAPY fair where he manned the sign in booth. He did a great job carrying his load. Then, he went back to the dorms where he napped and grabbed dinner with some friends

The homie Gabi woke up and did yoga. After, she also went on a scavenger hunt before completing some work. The JPs are chugging along, although physically tired!
5/12/22 - Today, I ate lunch with an upperclassman and my friend Ethan. We had the Study, which was pretty delicious. Then, I got trained in how to react under emergency situations. I learned that you do not hold someone down while they are having a stroke. I then headed to campus to meet a friend, and after I got dinner with a club. Finally, I ended my day by getting some cardio in, which felt refreshing.
The homie Alan woke up late and had a zoom meeting. Then, he got a lot of work done and then skated with a friend.
The homie Gabi had a BL lab, but her lab partner was being a bit unsafe so Gabi is going through it. Then, she caught up with her family over homework. Glad my JPs are being productive!
5/11/22 - How have you progressed this quarter
At the beginning of the quarter, I was at a very stagnant place mentally. I wanted to grow more, but I felt that I was not in the circumstance to do so. However, I realized that a lot of this was about perspective and mentality. I was putting myself in a situation that prevented me from growing. Over the quarter, I have become more emotionally connected to those around me. I often try to put others thoughts before mine, and I have seen the effects it has on how others interact with me. I also have enjoyed a more social quarter, which I think has allowed me to open up more socially.
The homie Alan woke up at 3pm, and he gogobap. Then, he did work and then chilled at Fireside with this friends.
The homie Gabi did yoga and then went to a dance class in west hollywood. They also got stuck in a zipcar for 30 minutes.
5/10/22
T’was a beautiful Tuesday afternoon that I woke up to. I would have loved to sleep in more, but the gentle sunlight was calling my name. I strutted over to my window and breathed in the fresh air and basked in the cool breeze. Wow, this is life. I then went to my 23L lab, and after walked back home with a beer-battered fish burrito (non-alcholic) from Rubio’s. I devoured this burrito while watching Jennie from Blackpink’s Hawaii vlog. Man, do I wish I was there with her right now. Anyways, I then caught a glimpse of the sun as it began to fall below the UCLA horizon. I felt the warmth of the rays at the same time the refreshing air swished past my cheeks. These are the moments that keep me alive. After the refreshing day, I headed over to play basketball with my friends. This was a whole new definition of refreshing as I was able to get my cardio in while enjoying the company of my fellow homo sapiens.
The homie Gabi went to an online meeting as soon as she woke up. Then she went to class and also called her mom for Mexican Mother’s Day. Gabi is so cool!
The homie Alan went to kTown to run some errands. He then studied with some friends before going to play basketball with his boys. Alan is so cute.
5/9/22
Today, I woke up extremely late so that I could catch up on sleep. It was definitely worth it, as I feel more refreshed. Then, I took a PCR test, which I hope will come back negative in a few days. I also completed some work before heading to a practice interview for an EMT job. It went well, and I feel more prepared for a coming interview. After, I surfed the news looking for what is currently happening in the world. I learned that Taco Bell is bringing back Mexican Pizza on May 19th! Like this post if you want to go then!
The homie Gabi woke up and did yoga, such as the tiger pose. Then, she went to Bcafe to eat a sandwich. She had a nice, chill day.
The homie Alan woke up and ate a lot of snacks. He also died on the toilet after eating too much junk food.
