I think wambus grew up in a texas-like place where lgbt people were absolutely forbidden, and like he's in his 40s only just figuring himself out after being surrounded by lgbt people on snaktooth

I’ve noticed something interesting about Bugsnax that I haven’t seen anyone else talk about
All the tools the Journalists gets throughout the game are color coordinated with the Grumpus’ it was made for
The snak trap is blue because you get it from Filbo, the buggy ball is pink because you get it from Gramble, the lunchpad is red because you get it from Cromdo, the snakgrappler is green because it was made for Chandlo, and the trip shot is yellow because you got it from Snorpy
And before anyone says “but the sauce slinger isn’t blue! You get that from Wambus!”, I actually have a theory for that
I think the sauce slinger was originally Elizabert’s, and he either got it from her or got it from Cromdo when he was selling Elizaberts stuff
