So it has been a week and a day since Ariel and I became one in marriage. :)

Just a recap of what happened at our wedding last Saturday. ;)

We received good feedbacks about the wedding. Some said it was wonderful, enlightening, beautiful, very private, and solemn. For the two of us, we just wanted it to be simple and nice yet beautiful. :)

Sin, a Hindrance to Answered Prayer

Have you ever found that the prayers you have before God have gone unanswered? Have you ever wondered what it could be that is holding back the answer to your petition? After spending some time in fasting in prayer the Lord revealed to me five hindrances to answered prayers, they are the following: sin, fear, self, time and disorder. In this writing, I’ll be discussing the first point, sin.

God’s word says that without obedience there is no blessing. Disobedience to God’s word is sin. We may be faithful in tithing and church attendance, but if we are not walking according to God’s word, we are in disobedience and sin.

We may want to become angry with God for not answering our prayer, but if we are walking in disobedience to God then we are hindering ourselves from receiving a blessing.

Sin seems to develop in stages, A) Thoughts, B) Words, and C) Action. The Scriptures state, “as a man THINKS in his heart, so is he.” If the thoughts of your heart are angry, lustful, jealous, and the like, then it is an indication of whom we are, even if it is not whom we want or claim to be. (see Matthew 15:10-20)

As Christians we must strive to keep our thoughts pure and in line with the word of God. Philippians 4:8 challenges the Believer, “Whatsoever things are holy, … pure, … and of good report …think [meditate] on these things.”

Sampung puntos ko ngayong gabi…

1. Isang oras halos kaming naglakad sa ilalim ng ulan… Suot ang aming mga kapote… Inaalalayan ang motor namin.

2. Dalawa kaming naghahanap ng vulcanizing shop. Sa kaliwa. Sa kanan. Sarado lahat ng inaakala naming aming malalapitan.

3. Sa ika-tatlong vulcanizing shop kami nagpaayos ng gulong at huminto.

4. Apat na bagay ang binili namin sa 711 pagkatapos… Pagkain naming dalawa, kape, at tubig.

5. Limang beses yata siya huminto kasi ang bagal ko maglakad at nauuna na siya. Hahaha.

6. Ito yung ika-anim na insidente ng pagkabalahaw namin sa byahe. Wahahaha.

7.  Pitong beses siya nagtanong kung ayos lang ba ako dahil sa nangyari.

8. Walo… Simbolo ng perfect number… Kasi walang katapusan… Infinity. Pero sabi niya kanina nung inalala namin yung balahaw stories namin… “Walang perfect moment. Haha.”

9. May sinabi siyang pangungusap na may siyam na salita…. “In good times and in bad times, I do.”

10. Sampung picture pagkatapos namin kumain… Masaya pa rin kami. At sabi nga niya sa prayer kanina… “Mananatiling magkasama sa hirap at ginhawa.”

I LOVE YOU BABY! Sa araw man o sa ulan ng buhay, tayong dalawa ay mananatiling magkasama. 😘❤ Love never gives up. 👆💖
