[REVIEW] BIGBANG MADE THE MOVIE (I feel that I really need to review this thou it has been premiered more than a month ago. I just watched it today because it's playing at the local cinema and still starstruck) First thing first: BIGBANG IS NOT A GOOD ROLE MODEL for identity-seeking teens and kids. They smoke, they have tattoos, they party a lot, they drink a lot and got drunk a lot, they have scandals with various women, and the list goes on. They are not gods who should be worshipped and have their actions followed, they are humans who makes choices on their lifes and sometimes they also make mistakes. Then why do I support this group, that much that I dedicate a blog post for them if they are such troublemakers? Well, to answer it let's go all the way back to 10 years ago. K-Pop was a gentle wave for the world back in those days, and what's heard from their music were just K-drama OSTs. However, boybands were such a trend in Korea and therefore a hard training system to debut the next generation of boybands. Bigbang debuted in those years with a little popularity due to their lack of handsomeness, and the hiphop genre they're trying to hype. (For references watch their debut MV: LA LA LA). They were rookies, skinny, gaunt, and wears same colored clothing, and even shoulder pads because they lack some manly shoulder muscles. They went from event to event doing just anything to get their popularity up and gain more fans. It wasn't until they launch Lies, a year later they got their names out and suddenly they start winning music shows and became stars. It took them years to become the BIGBANG they are now, troublemakers yet superstars. They are not instant stars who got an easy recognition over a youtube video, an audition or a debut song. They were only teens when they all started. Teens who was supposed to be busy thinking when is the next school holiday, or when will I get a new game console. I admire them for this, for their passion to work towards a dream so that their music will be heard. This movie made me realize how human are BIGBANG, and how passionate they are in their work (that even having a such bright light in a concert is a major problem). I love how they put their fans satisfaction drilled into their minds very deep that they notice even the slightest problems. Therefore, it is never a waste of anything to watch their concert, because you get what you paid and waited for, a hundred and one percent. And I will always be proud to be a fan of these sensitive bastards :) PS. (spoilers) they caught several grannies watching their con (fangirling like girls), and I was like: yeah i feel you.
