Hello and welcome! I know there are a lot of AU blogs that provide a story type base. This is just the same - except with songs! Please use the ask box to the side to recommend songs or ask questions! <---- Also, if you have any suggestions for artists or genres, please let me know! I will listen to anything once. But, if I truly cannot think of a plot for it, I will let you know (anons will be publicly posted).

5. Love Bites (So Do I) - Halestorm

Muse A is in a relationship that has gone into the deepest rut imaginable. It has gotten to the point where Muse A is blamed for everything by their partner and there is no connection anymore. But Muse A doesn’t want to break it off at risk of being labeled ‘single’. One evening, Muse A is drowning their sorrows in the local bar and runs into Muse B, a punk type person known for sleeping around a lot. Muse A doesn’t recognize them for who they are at first and the two get to talking.

Fast forward to Muse B’s place the next morning and a very hungover Muse A is beating themselves up for cheating on their partner. Muse B tries to console them, but honestly isn’t all that surprised. Muse A promises to themselves and Muse B that this was the first and last time that it would happen. But the next time something with their partner throws Muse A into the dumps, they seek Muse B for comfort.

Their arrangement goes on for a little while until finally Muse A’s partner finds out and the pair get into a fight. Thoroughly defeated and depressed, Muse A talks to Muse B, explaining what happened.

Will Muse A break things off with Muse B and try to fix things with their partner? Or will Muse A and Muse B turn into lovers?

~Alterations~

I. Muse B told Muse A’s partner about the relationship, for whatever reason.

II. Muse B knows Muse A’s partner on a personal level (friends, coworkers, etc.)

4. Mambo No. 5 - Lou Bega

Muse A is the biggest playboy and known by everyone around. He always had some girl (or girls) on him. He doesn't have a job, he is rich off his parents' fortune. Muse A is the very definition of a spoiled brat with no ambitions what-so-ever. Muse B is an new intern at Muse A's family corporation. They have had their nose to the grindstone their entire life, trying to get away from the slums of their childhood.

One day, Muse A is called into the company by his father and meets Muse B. He nearly smacks into a wall from their beauty, but Muse B has no interest in the lover-boy. They guide him to his father's office with a cold shoulder. Muse A's father begins speaking right as the door shuts. He starts on a lecture about his son's reckless behavior and complete disregard for anything except spending money and sex. He ultimately decides that if Muse A does not pull his act together, he will be cut off altogether.

Muse A leaves his father's office with an almost destroyed look. Muse B notices how human he looks. They approach him and offer him an ear to vent to. The pair under up going across the street to a cafe. Muse A spills everything to Muse B, what happened and how he feels about it all. When he finishes, Muse B asks him what he plans to do. Muse A is at a complete lost. Feeling sympathetic to the guy, Muse B offers to help him.

Over the next few days, the two meet up and Muse B helps Muse A with his spending. As the days drag on, Muse B begins to notice more and more of what a good person Muse A really is. His money problems seem to improve with every meeting, but his partying and one-night-stands don't. Frustrated, Muse B tells him he has to cut down his bad habits and 'needs'. After a long fight, Muse A agrees and they shake on it.

After about a week, Muse A's behavior shifts, to a more grouchy and short tempered one. At their apartment, Muse B finally stands up to Muse A's harsh comments and demands that he explains himself. Muse A finally snaps and begs Muse B to have sex with them.

Will Muse B agree? Will their mutual friendship change? Or will the duo split?

~Alterations~

I. Muse A's father finds out about Muse B helping his son and calls them in to discuss their 'arrangement'. Muse A finds out and believes Muse B has been against him and using him from the very beginning.

II. Muse A becomes perverse with Muse B after he agrees to cut down on sex.

3. Shadows by Lindsey Stirling

In a world where demons can cross over to the side of the living, they can only appear as shadows, most often becoming the shadows of humans. Muse A, a demon well know for trickery, goes to the human world and poses as a shadow of Muse B, a high schooler. But this student is that one who isn't very social and doesn't have a whole lot of friends. Muse A begins by messing around in Muse B's life, getting them in trouble and such. But pretty soon, the notice how alone and depressed Muse B is almost all of the time. So, Muse A starts trying to help them out. They start making them look better in the eyes of their peers and Muse B becomes a lot happier in life. Before they realize it, Muse A has fallen in love with Muse B.

They start delivering flowers and various other trinkets to Muse B. Originally, Muse B thinks that they are pranks and falls into another depression. But, as the deliveries continue, they start to believe that someone out there truly loves them. Flowers and chocolates soon progress to sweet notes of confession, but never reveal the name of the admirer. One day, when Muse B thinks they are completely alone, they confess out loud that they have fallen for the other as well. Muse A becomes absolutely ecstatic that their feelings are returned, but there's just one problem - they've spent too long in the human world and they are slowly deteriorating. The only way they can truly be with Muse B is by giving up their demonhood, but they need to go back to their realm to do that.

Muse A ultimately ends up leaving leaves to recuperate in their world. But they are caught coming back and are imprisoned for leaving the demon world without proper clearance. When the gifts stop, Muse B becomes very worried that something happened and set out to find the mysterious person. They spend months trying to find them, but it is impossible to catch a shadow.

Will Muse A be able to escape and return to the human world? And what will happen if they meet Muse B again? Will their love still be the same?

~Alterations~

I. Muse A and Muse B are the same sex.

II. One of Muse A's ways of courting is invading Muse B's dreams and giving them, well, wet dreams.

III. Muse B notices weird happenings to their shadow when Muse A is around and feels a presence leave them when they are gone.

2. No Easy Way Out by Digital Daggers

Muse A is convicted murderer and was sentenced to life in a psychiatric hospital. The thing is, they didn't do it. They were framed. At first, Muse A fights against the officers and tries to escape. Thinking they had no other option, the doctors decided to thoroughly drug them. After a few weeks of just about being in a medical coma, the doctors decide to lessen the dosage. Big mistake. The first change they get, Muse A breaks out. It's during the night when the guards aren't that attentive. They scramble their way through the doors and over the barbed wire fence. They run all the way to the nearby city. However, this is the 'bad part of town'.

Muse A breaks into the first building they see - an abandon factory of some kind. There, they meet Muse B, a high of their rocker high school dropout smoking a joint. Muse B notices the needle marks on Muse A's arms (from the asylum) and offers them the joint. Muse A rejects it and tries to escape the building. However, the sight of their bloodied up hands snap Muse B almost completely from their high. They insist on taking Muse A back to their apartment and treating their wounds. Muse A is still too weak to fight against the stubborn 20 something year old as they pull them away.

Back at Muse B's place, Muse A's hands and wrists are all bandaged up. Muse B doesn't ask any questions afterward, merely offers them a place to crash. Having no better options, Muse A agrees. The next morning, Muse B vaguely remembers bringing someone home, but not a loon from the psychiatric ward. They are a little nervous around Muse A but soon gets over it. After talking for a bit, Muse A confides in Muse B that they have no place to go. Muse B offers to let they live in their shabby place until they can get back on their feet. The two become a strange pair of roommates, attempting to help with each other's problems.

But what happens when the law puts out a warrant for Muse A's recapture? Will Muse B help them get away?

~Alterations~

I. Someone on the inside of the hospital knows Muse A is innocent and helps them to escape and stay free.

II. Muse A snaps inside the ward, so when they meet Muse B, their mental stability is.... iffy.

III. Muse A and Muse B become romantically involve after sharing each other's darkest secrets.

1. Sk8ter Boi by Avril Lavigne

Muse A is the daughter of a rich family, but attends a public school upon her own request - to be treated normal. Upon her first few weeks, she easily makes friends at the school, all higher society types, however. Then one day, she meets Muse B. Muse B is usually late to class, giving almost no respect to any of the teachers or the school itself. He is usually caught skating around campus on his board. The two run into each and there is an immediate attraction - ony Muse B is less subtle about it. He decides to make Muse A the new object of his affection.

At first, Muse A enjoyed Muse B’s flirting and attempts to get her attention. But once her friends find out, they did nothing but put him down and trash him in front of Muse A. She soon accepts their distaste for him. When he finally asks her out, she flat out resfuses him, thinking he’s not good enough for her.

Five years later, Muse A is married and is sitting at home, (alone/watching the kid). She turns on the television and sees Muse B on stage, playing his guitar on stage with his band. After finding out from her friends that they all have tickets, she decides to go with them. 

Once at the concert and seeing him up on stage - she remembers all the love she had for him, but let her friends push away. Muse A stares at nothing but Muse B, the main guitarist and back-up vocalist, the entire time. After the concert ends, she finds a way to escape her friends and goes out the back stage door, where crowds of fans are waiting from the band to come out. Muse A confronts Muse B, telling him about all the mistakes she made back then and confesses her love.

~Alternations~

I. Muse B accepts her affections, telling her he could never forget how he felt about her and they try dating for real.

II. Muse C, the lead vocalist, appears from behind Muse B, drapping her arms all over him and declaring that they are in a relationship. Muse B then decides which one to go with.

III. Muse B rejects Muse A completely, telling them they are too late.
