I’m kinda in love with the idea that Luna wanted to control Real Madrid’s next scion and found his puppet in an empty, orphaned Bunny. Then Bunny befriended Sae and regrettably crushed his dream before moving to Barcha. He seems to lack individuality, Luna be talking way too crazy in PWC to be irrelevant, and Barcha is all about freedom. But it’s hard to be free.

۶ৎ : little analyzation/details I found on volume 35 of blue lock 🐰♡♡

as you can see, bunny iglesias is the character for this cover! look how cute and beautiful he is ( ˶˘ ³˘)♡~~ but let's get on with it hehe

I noticed that he's wearing a double-layered collar. I find it a little odd, considering that no character in blue lock wears two collars at once.

the outside collar literally look's like cardboard too, just painted on, (maybe symbolizing how bunny's football career and ego is a whole facade) and it emphasizes the color mint-green / teal a lot. and who's eyes have that exact color? the itoshi siblings and leonardo luna. perhaps it's a stretch but we already know that sae and bunny might've had a rough history together (former friends and rivals?), so the green light could be hinting at that connection and their future match against each other. I figure leonardo luna has some part in it at least.

now what does the double-layered collar mean? I'm thinking that despite how bunny seems to already be a really great player in football, he still hasn't TRULY unlocked his true potential in the sport. you can see how in the inside collar it's starting to crack as well, but it's only a little bit, meaning bunny still has a long way to go of achieving his actual ego. and even if said collar does break, there's another one he'll have to work for so he can reach his max potential. the way the outside 'fake' collar has sae itoshi/leonardo lunas eye color hints a lot on how they could be the one holding him back and keeping the outside collar from breaking, that's just an assumption though. and with what I've stated about how the outside collar looks like a cardboard maybe the inside collar is his true ego (due to how it's cracking) and the fake one is a collar that someone had put on him. like a leash.

2. the way his chains are positioned and how he's literally leaning into his collar is questionable.

his chains are set very high, like someone is holding it and keeping him on a leash. and once again— there's that green light radiating at the very top of the chain. oh and.. it also look's like a noose. I'll talk more about the noose thing after this, but one of my assumptions is that someone is controlling him/used to and that's the main thing holding bunny back from finding his ego. obviously my pick would be leonardo luna because I have a feeling bunny, sae, and that guy have connections with each other. and we all know how luna seems to enjoy children getting their hopes crushed😭. though you never know— it could be his parents. much like a hiori situation, but worse.

moving on to how the chain collar look's like a 'noose', we all are very aware of how bunny isn't doing well mentally and emotionally. in his introduction, he states that he doesn't find any excitement in a lot of things anymore (football), and that seeing joyful people makes him disgusted and wants to die. there are definitely implications of depression in his words. the way the chains are shaped like a noose and how he's leaning into the awfully short/tight collar purposely really hints at that. bunny seems so chill with it too because of that hand pose he's doing. either he wants to rid himself of existence, or he doesn't have any hope and care anymore if someone is controlling his dream for football.

3. okay, now time for his character design♡

I've seen tons of people hating on his color palette and how 'no effort' was put on his cover, and I will admit I partially agree with it. his color palette is amazing and I'm surprised most of the blue lock community got it right. though yes, the cover does seem rushed but his chain collar is super detailed, you can make a lot of assumptions with it. anyways— I just wished knsr made the background a different color to really make his character design pop off more. I love how dull his hair color is. this is obviously an overanalyzation but the world dull could mean generally lacking of interest/connection to things. and bunny is very detatched to life.

now this one is very concerning— his eyes look very empty, like he's dead in the inside. it seems he's the only one with a pure black pupil, since most of the covers of characters in bllk have white-colored pupils in their eyes. his sparkless eyes could describe his lack of interest in football— perhaps even himself. another sign of bunny being mentally unstable. also, his eye color is a reddish-pink, sort of like sae's aura color (though it's more of a magenta-pink). does this also hint at their connection with each other?

with what I had analyzed about bunny's double-layered collar, his chains position, and his character design, I have a feeling he will be a well-written and fleshed out character in the future ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و. I can't wait to know more about him♡♡. (also definitely not black clover related but plss I need to post something..)

Hopefully the chain is giving noose because I wanted to keep it low-key and mildly faithful to the og without it being a whole ass rope.

Oh, and the last pic is the first rendition I made at 5:00am fueled by adrenaline and knowing damn well I had a big responsibility tomorrow. I wanted to incorporate stakes for the religious theme and blood is always fun. Also the colors I wanted cause I wanted to believe in melanin 🥀🥀🥀

Anyhow, I really like how two of the players most involved with Sae both have religious themes. Like Shidou with demons and Bunny’s last name meaning church plus his cross-shaped scar.

Wonder if that means anything at all…
