Took the snowshoes out on a hike for Maple Sugar Sunday. And of course we had to go to "The Old Sap House" for breakfast. Got some Maple Syrup, watched them boil sap, hung out by the fire. It was a beautiful day.
A winter outing or date idea that couldn't be sweeter

My Granddaughter Cora has cabin fever. We took the boat to the Prom and went shopping. Still thinking about getting a "Maude Mobile" but I still haven't found the perfect one. Cora did talk me into buying something...
Well, they took a little getting used to, but I got the hang of it... kind of. Next weekend we are going to Maple Sugar Sunday in H.B.
I left Oasis Springs late tonight and had to stop to get some cannoli for the road. There was a party in the parking lot, so I had to stop and dance! The truck had an amazing system!! And we danced for over an hour. They said the truck has amazing inventory space and you can take it with you everywhere. And added bonus, it works off the grid, and in the rain!! Time for a Maude Mobile??
Come to find out the kids who owned the truck were in a band and gave me free tickets to their next gig! So, you know I needed my pics for posterity.
Poor Emit was swamped with customers, but I got my cannoli.
When I was leaving, I met a Sim who was on a challenge. He was racing across the map stopping at every town for at least a day and there was a challenge for every map. Sounded exciting to me!
Made it home with enough energy to play Sims Archive... it was just like I remembered it. Lots of fire!
Mobile Music, put in your inventory and take anywhere, even off the grid

Well Maisy did all she could do. Looks like these little guys are never going to look like roosters again. They are permanently genetically modified. I listed them on patreon if anyone wants to adopt one...

I expected Maisy to be more upset than she was. It seemed like a failure to me, and she usually was awful about failing. As a matter of fact, she took it a little too well... oh no I wonder what that girl is up to now
Also, their shells still don't protect them enough for the foxes...
Maisy called me and asked if I could just meet her at the lab. She was tied up and couldn't leave. When I got there and she explained to me that she through a series of experiments, and spells, and some weird incidents she had accidentally genetically modified some roosters…
They were adorable!! She was trying everything she could think of to turn them back and nothing was working. It was early in the morning when she finally gave up the science. I told her tomorrow I would meet her in the desert, and she could try magic. And if that didn't work, we would figure out what to do with them then.
What the heck just ran by me?! No way that was a tortoise!
You would think I was in Strangerville not Oasis Springs. The whole place is unusually gloomy. Maisy msged me this morning to make sure I was still coming. She isn't home at the container apartments... no one is around there at all.
Headed to the gas station to hangout and wait for her to call me back. The very lovely man behind the counter (Emmit) told me that things had been quiet at the container apartments for a few days and that was very odd. (PS best cannoli I have had in a long time. Dusty Turf Gas Station, Mariage Canyon, five stars... who would have guessed. Boba Tea in the parking lot and say hi to Emmit.)
Climbed the hill to get a view of "the strip" Mariage Canyon. (Futures Past Motel, Dusty Turf Gas Station, Strickland Yard 2 (basically a junky industrial dump) and the Container Appartment (all on EA Gallery search creator Id "MemeresMods" All these builds are basically shells and set dressing)
My Neice just got this Antique Logging Tools Decor from Memere's Mods (I don't remember if she said the Patreon site or Curseforge doesn't matter they both have it. I will add the links at the bottom.) She got them to "rustic up" her cabin in Moonwood Mills. I am unsure wich colors she got because I know there are four swatches.
Only problem was she didn't know what most of the things were used for. She was afraid a visitor might ask her, catching her out not knowing. And who else would she ask other then her Memere. (Memere was around when those tools were still being used.)
Top left is a two man saw because it takes half the time for two sims sawing on a tree to cut it down then it would for one sim. They just had to be able to work together to make it truly time saving. Both sims get a handle and they take turns pulling.
Top right is a very aggressive sawmill blade. It must have been used for cutting some very hard wood.
Bottom Left is a peeve. A tool used by loggers to roll logs around giving the Sim leverage.
