Yes, you're a pretty girl, but how about sharing your artwork too?

Fashion is art. Styling myself, doing my makeup, setting up the shot, choosing my mannerisms, poses, and expressions, editing: all of that is art. Visual art, performance art, photography, videography, creative expression.. I AM sharing my artwork.

What I choose to do and share here is for myself. If I wanted to share my drawings, I would. It feels condescending to imply that what I'm sharing somehow doesn't count as art.

From my perspective, I've been relishing a renewed inspiration for art through fashion, modeling, and photography. I feel the same joy I did as a child dressing up, cutting pictures out of magazines, and drawing clothes. It's the joy of playing with color and light, form and flow of putting together something that feels satisfying and creating simply for the fun of it.

I've been exploring parts of myself I haven't paid attention to in years. Parts of myself I love very much.

The way I said to myself "woah there pal maybe we slow down on the chocolate bar" then proceeded to grab the chocolate milk out the fridge and guzzle a quarter of it before realizing what I'd done. I feel like I'm possessed by a chocolate loving imp.
