Still trying to understand what Thomas Tuchel was thinking when he had the entire England team sit back after scoring the opening goal, with more than half an hour still left to play. That’s just unacceptable...

I admit that I have a real soft spot for Barcelona — they’re the European team I support — so I’m happy that Spain have qualified. I’m also a big fan of Yamal.
Guys, sorry for taking so long to reply to some of your messages. I'm still trying to recover from the allergic cough (we call it a "dog cough" here in Brasil) that came along with the flu I caught. My voice is still pretty weak, and I've been a bit grumpy because of it, so I've been kind of MIA lately 🤧
I’m genuinely surprised seeing the World Cup memes, because it feels like the rest of the world is only now realizing how there always seems to be something “suspicious” happening in Argentina’s games and what Argentinians are like lmaoooo.
To me, this was always something everyone already knew. At least the rest of Latin America has always known...

People hate on Sansa for being “naive”, when in reality she was a girl so loved that she had no idea men could be so cruel.
Such a sad fate for a sweet girl. 💔
Taking advantage of my lunch break to reply to some comments on Before Spring — the highlight of my day. I love you all 🫶🏼
Before Spring - Chapter 5
Sad day. I thought about not posting, but that wouldn’t be fair to you guys 🥹
Well, I don’t even need to say that @elasticminotaurpyre was the one who proofread it, right? 😅 I also asked for his opinion a lot on a few things, and I think it turned out really good. I hope you enjoy it ❤️
Bran and Arya might want to accompany their father. He had imagined that much. Bran out of concern, Arya because she would never accept being left behind if she knew Jon was involved. But the question that came next did not come out. Is Sansa coming too? Catelyn seemed to hear it all the same. “Yes. Bran and Arya are coming.” The pause was brief, but enough. “Sansa as well. Though I suspect she is being made to come.” Jon kept his face still. Or tried to. Catelyn continued, with a more evident edge of hardness. “Sansa is well-bred enough to know that, at this moment, her place should be at the young king’s side.” Young king. Joffrey. The name came with a foul taste. Jon imagined gold, red, a crown, a firm hand on Sansa’s waist. The image came too quickly, too vividly, and he crushed it before it could fully take shape. “Then you understand why I ask,” Catelyn said. “What is so grave that Ned must come here immediately, bringing all the children, even knowing Sansa’s duties?” Jon had been expecting those questions for days. Since Robb had written the letter. Since it had become clear that Ned would come. Since Catelyn had begun watching him with that look of a woman who sensed danger but did not yet know from which side it would come. Robb had been busy with Wynafryd and little Rickard, with servants, lords, messages, and the weary joy of a new father. Catelyn had waited. Now she had come looking for answers. “You will know soon,” Jon said. “That is not enough.” “I did not imagine it would be.” “Then explain.” Jon looked at her. For some reason, he smiled. There was no warmth in the gesture. “I think you may like what I have to tell Lord Eddard.” Confusion passed across her face before she could hide it. Jon held her gaze. And the thought came, cruel. Would you have treated me like a son if you had known?

Yeah, favoritism doesn’t guarantee qualification...
Congratulations to Norway’s team, who were much more dedicated and deserved to qualify much more than we did.
As always, everything seems to go wrong whenever I announce on Tumblr that I’m going to update a fic at a specific time... My dad thought the meat and garlic bread for the barbecue wasn’t enough and dragged me to the supermarket, and apparently the whole town agreed with him because the place is packed 😪
But I’ll do my best to post the new chapter of Before Spring before the Brazil game starts at 5 PM.
I miss two days ago, when I didn’t have the flu and could breathe perfectly fine 🤧
Well, this fic was supposed to be posted in January, but it took quite a bit of work to sort out some loose ends, and I’m sure that as I keep writing, I’ll find even more things to fix 😅
Buuut, it’s finally published, and I hope you enjoy it. Chapter 1 is HERE!
Imagine a world in which Ned Stark never discovered the truth about Robert Baratheon’s children. A world in which Bran never saw Cersei and Jaime together, was never pushed from a tower, and the Starks were able to live for years in something close to a fairy tale in King’s Landing.
Meanwhile, in the North, Jon Snow’s story followed the same path it always had.
While his family flourished in the South, Jon died at the Wall — and came back. Resurrected, he finally learns the truth about his parentage and decides to claim everything that was denied to him, everything that is his by right.
Now, Ned Stark may choose honesty and offer his support to the son he kept at a distance for so long. But Jon is not willing to trust those he once called family so easily. To believe in them again, he will demand a high price.
And Sansa Stark will stand at the center of it.
⚠️ HOT GOSSIP ALERT ⚠️
Chapter 5 of Before Spring will be posted tomorrow at 4 PM (Brasília, Brazil time)!!
P.S.: I swear I’m actually going to post it this time, guys 🥹
Winter Is Coming - Chapter 15
Updating again without giving you guys a heads-up here, just to see if that keeps problems from showing up on the days I post. 😅
This chapter is dedicated to @sansa306, who had a birthday this week! ❤️
And of course, a huge thank you to @elasticminotaurpyre well, because once again he was the one who beta-read and corrected the chapter! 🥹
Jon stepped away from the table. “You want to believe him. Of course you do—you want to believe in the handsome knight with golden hair...” The accusation hung between them. Sansa felt her anger rise slowly. “He earned my gratitude,” she said. “I will not pretend he did not. He saved me when no one else would come. I began to see him differently after that.” Jon stood still. “But that is not love,” she continued. “It is not desire. It is not what you are implying.” “I did not imply anything.” “You did not need to.” Sansa took a step forward. “You think I let Jaime go because he is handsome, because he is a knight, because he came to the Vale as though he had stepped out of a song. You think I cannot tell gratitude from love.” Jon didn’t answer.

I find it funny how these edits compare Jon to Daemon just to glorify Daemon and, at the same time, try at all costs to turn Jon into a villain.
What’s even more curious is how they do this while completely ignoring the context of the stories, as if everything were equivalent and interchangeable. Obviously, Daenerys’ and Rhaenyra’s situations are super similar—after all, who hasn’t seen Rhaenyra settle political disputes by burning King’s Landing and killing thousands of innocent people out of grief, right? Totally the same vibe 😅
By all the Gods, YES!
I always end up laughing when I see edits comparing Jon and Daemon.
Guys, I know Daenerys’ ending was very poorly written, with her going mad overnight, but direct your anger at the showrunners. In the series, Jon was given plausible reasons to do what he did.
Whispers of Obsession - Chapter 21
No advance notice about updating this fanfic today because last week I said I would update it and didn’t 🫣
I’d like to extend my thanks to @elasticminotaurpyre for reading the chapter and checking for loose ends and punctuation errors, making it possible to update today! ❤️
Sansa kept her eyes on her mother. “I have no guarantees. He promised he would talk to me before making any decision that affects us both. He will keep working, and we will set boundaries so the relationship does not interfere with his obligations.” She did not explain what those boundaries would be. They did not exist. There was only the need to make it seem as though they did. Robb crossed his arms. “You refused to speak to him for days. Now you went to his company, heard an explanation, and came back. Did you already want to reconcile?” “I went looking for an explanation, not a reconciliation.” “And what did he say today that he could not have said before ending things?” “He admitted that he was wrong.” “You keep saying the same thing.” Robb’s voice was not loud, but it grew harder. “You are not explaining what really convinced you.” Sansa felt her nails press into the handle of her bag. “I thought carefully about how I would tell you because I knew you would turn everything into an interrogation.” “Robb,” Catelyn said, “lower your voice.” “I saw what she was like these past few days.” He looked at Sansa again. “She barely ate. She barely left her room. She cried every time anyone mentioned his name. One conversation should not have been enough to change everything.” “The suffering also happened because I never stopped loving him,” Sansa replied. This time, emotion broke through her voice before she could contain it. It was true, and perhaps that was why it hurt more than the other words. Catelyn stared at her for a moment and seemed to find there the proof she was looking for: not a carefully constructed lie, but a wounded daughter who still wanted to return to someone she loved.
