I miss my tumblr friendships.

Today I thought about someone I met through tumblr, someone I used to really talk to like every day. And I miss her. It was this random pang. Because I started to wonder what happened, you know, in that way that most people wonder about previous connections. And honestly, I know that whatever caused us to not talk as much was probably my fault. Because I have lost a lot of friends over the years and I realize that I’m losing some of them because of my inability to communicate as much as necessary. And once I thought about how much I missed talking to this one person I started thinking about all the other people I was close to on here that I haven’t talked to in forever. Maybe, hopefully, one day these people will read this and we can reconnect and catch up with our lives.

I think I’ll get rid of this blog. I’ll keep the name for prosperity but I want to be a blogger again. One that only writes and doesn’t reblog. I know it’ll be difficult because the temptation to reblog something funny is strong but I want to “get back to my roots” and hopefully I’ll reconnect with myself.

So I haven't decided to announce this on my Korea focused blog yet and I'm not sure when I will but... I've decided to go back home by the end of the summer. This whole Korea thing was a nightmare, but you know at least I can cross it off my list. You live and you learn as someone once said. Now all I want to do is return home and live my best mediocre life. And... I'm honestly okay with that.

Back from the dead!

My first post here in forever. I’m taking a break from my other blog because of some friendship issues I’m currently having.

Why are men so horrible?

Like here I am, minding my own business by focusing on replying to my friends’ messages, when this random dude slides into my inbox talking about his kakao id is: fuckoffbitch.

Like seriously? Cause that’s real original. 

And I guess since I didn’t answer he decided to continue on by saying: “u must be fat and ugly... no fat ugly chicks allowed”

UHM, EXCUSE ME, BUT YOU CAME INTO MY INBOX!!!

I just told him to move along with his misogyny cause unlike him, I do not have time to be playing around in people’s inboxes. 

I mean, for real though, like what makes people, especially men, think it’s okay to just harass people they don’t even know? Yeah, I know this is the internet, but does all of your common sense just up and leave every single time you get in front of a computer keyboard?

I'm just curled up in my bed wishing someone would talk to me so I'm not so sad about grad school. That last interview was brutal. I just feel like all my dreams crashed and burned.

I was interviewed by 2 people. I feel like my answers didn't make any sense. They asked me about the foreign policy of Obama and Bush. Gah. I don't know why I applied for an International Relations major.
