       REMORSE didn’t seem like something that she would feel. It was confusing to listen to her and he didn’t know why she would visit her husband’s grave. Was it just a way for her to disrespect him even more? She had murdered him. Could this truly mean so much to her? Or was this just another way of using his weaknesses against him? 

           ❛ You visit his grave every year? I’m sorry, but that doesn’t sound right. ❜ The crusader didn’t mean to disrespect her or her husband, but it was hard to believe that she had good intentions when she visited him. Would he approve, though? 

However, her anger seemed genuine and she didn’t have any reason to tell him that. She could have made something else up to get out of here. Any other reason would have been more believable, so it was hard to believe that she was lying to him now. Still, it was a good way to appeal to his emotions and it would be easier to make him help her. 

          ❛ You wouldn’t get out of here without someone’s help. I can talk to the others, see if we can let you visit his grave. If you truly wish to do that. ❜ However, she wouldn’t be leaving alone. 

Her nostrils flare at his words. “Perhaps it does not sound right to you, but perhaps you know nothing--” --OF REGRET. The words catch and knot in her throat and she finds she cannot finish the sentence. Her returning emotions are a double edged sword, and she’s yet to learn how to manage them.

Particularly when her late husband is the topic.

She turns her back to Reinhardt again, crossing her arms over her chest defensively. She tries to lean back into the spark of anger he’d lit in her breast--she won’t crack in front of this brute. She won’t give him the pleasure of seeing the heartless spider cry.

Then, her ears perk up. “You could?” she asks, too eagerly for her own liking. She turns a bit to look at him. “I would wish to do so. Could you... actually arrange that?” She looks up at him expectantly, and there’s a twinkle of hope in her eyes.

Perhaps the Crusader is not such a brute after all.
