I don’t think people on here understand the magnitude of this win. African and Arab countries (unless they’re from the Gulf) don’t have ANYTHING. No funding, no facilities, nothing to the level that the big teams from Europe & South America get. They have very little. Their players are scattered across the region and if they’re lucky, some are in the big leagues. They are openly Muslim and doing a prayer at the end of every match. They are holding a Palestinian flag every match. All the players come from the most humble backgrounds and half of them were not even born and raised in Morocco but chose to play for their homeland. This is so significant and they deserve all the praise for it.
