more people need to consume media how dedicated comics fans consume their media of choice
go up to any comics fan and ask them which writers house they would mail pipe bombs to and they’ll list of at the bare minimum 5 different people. ask them their favorite character and you’ll be greeted with an answer followed by why every comic ever featuring that character has been literally the worst and they refuse to read it again. truly i don’t think there’s another group of people so invested in something that they truly despise to such a great degree.

Going to a seder at a family friend's place tonight and I have been informed multiple times that someone there has changed her name to Stephanie, but because it seems nobody wants to deadname her, nobody has specified who Stephanie is. So I guess I'm just going to get a surprise Stephanie when I arrive.
I am among the first people to arrive which means I get to play a fun process of elimination game. It is not the family's youngest child so I think that leaves two more. Unless Stephanie is an aunt or a niece or something.
Have learned that Stephanie is the eldest child. Which is very convenient for me because she is the one family member whose name I could not remember anyway.

i think all cass fans who love bg2000 should read impulse 1995 and vice versa because they both truly hit the same niche of long running character-focused solos about a deeply isolated teenager who is kind of learning to be a Person for the first time.. and everything is confusing and frustrating and no one is patient with them and the people who are supposed to take care of them fail them over and over again but despite all the hurt and struggle the love IS there and it DOES matter & make a difference even if they can’t truly be Understood in the way they want. and slowly over time they build a community of people who love them when they had never been loved before.
People with low spoons, someone just recommended this cookbook to me, so I thought I’d pass it on.
I always look at cookbooks for people who have no energy/time to do elaborate meal preparations, and roll my eyes. Like, you want me to stay on my feet for long enough to prepare 15 different ingredients from scratch, and use 5 different pots and pans, when I have chronic fatigue and no dishwasher?
These people seem to get it, though. It’s very simple in places. It’s basically the cookbook for people who think, ‘I’m really bored of those same five low-spoons meals I eat, but I can’t think of anything else to cook that won’t exhaust me’. And it’s free!

or people just going “@OfficialGL, we’re going to starbucks you want something” and hal OBVIOUSLY responds and then shows up in park or smth to have his coffee and take some pics with fans
or some old ladies baking and just “@OfficialGL how long has it been since you’ve had some good ol fashioned earth pie? come on over” and hal IMMEDIATELY SHOWS UP in some tiny kitchen ready to have his pie and tell his space stories to an old lady
dick grayson says "i would KNOW if bruce died i would FEEL it" but what he really means is once a month he sits bolt upright and is like Oh My God Bruce Is Dead. I Can Sense It Intuitively. And It's My Fault. and of course bruce is fine dick just has ocd. but one day surely he will sense it for real
I sometimes see people saying the "if killing to stop killing is justified why shouldn't I kill you (Jason)" Bruce/Zur-En-Arrh panel from Gotham War is an interesting point that needs elaborating on, and while I guess I don't think it's a TOTALLY meritless idea, I feel like the oomph is really taken out of that gotcha by the way Jason goes "you can kill me right now to stop me Bruce I'll let you I'm giving you an ok an opening and a weapon you can do it Bruce" in one of the most famous parts of his first-ever comic as Red Hood. Like it's a semi-compelling question I guess, but we KNOW Jason's answer and its "sincerely, and I mean this, go for it, I won't even try to stop you."
