Nah, I get the discretion thing, no worries. My own Mom went through the same thing when I found the internet. I generally don’t post NSFW stuff, but if I ever do, I’ll make a separate blog for it. Anything for the mini me. Just…don’t yell at Sans too much, okay? It was an honest mistake.

Yeah! You can set so that it either covers up the post and gives you an option to reveal it, or it completely blocks them from showing up in any way, shape, or form. I’m sure Alphys can help you set it up if you need help, and she can probably recommend other keywords to block, given her natural weaboo environment.

I don’t mean to ruin your fun. It’s just that Frisk is very young, and as I have said in another post, the program doesn’t pick and choose what it reads out to them; it goes for anything that’s on the page.

I intervened at what I believe to be a good time, no damage done.

By adult, I meant “populated mainly by adults and teenagers”, all of whom talk and post about this kind of stuff.

Look, my point is that there’s going to be tons of unflagged and commonly posted stuff like this going around, and you can’t protect Frisk from all of that. If it wasn’t Sans, then it would have been some other post they would have found down the line. Maybe Sans should have put it on a different blog, yes, but there’s no reason to go all disappointed-mom-mode on him for it.

My recommendation? Install Xkit and blacklist ‘nsfw’. A lot of people are really good tagging stuff like that, so it’d definitely clear up some of less desirable stuff on Frisk’s dash, especially if the others make a mistake and post something like this on their mains.

I understand that, but certainly you can have more discretion than that? I’m not asking that you don’t talk about it, I just want it to be kept in its own little corner so Frisk doesn’t stumble upon it. They have no control over what they read, either; the software they have installed will dictate anything that it finds on the page.

I can do what you just recommended, though. I’m hoping that everyone will be responsible enough to tag it so that it won’t show up on the dashboard. To clarify; it makes it disappear entirely, right?

What do you mean by having Flowey discuss it? Isn't Flowey in the underground?

Oh, it’s a very long story – it’d take me a while if you wanted me to cover it all, but basically, Flowey is, in a way, Frisk’s ‘seeing eye flower’. He reads out descriptions and imitates sounds for them, and when someone fails to make a description for photos that they post so that Frisk’s software can pick it up, he tells them what it looks like.

He doesn’t read every post they make nor look constantly at their screen, but he’s around if Frisk is struggling to make sense of it for any reason.

It’s just too crass for a place where everyone can see it! Not to mention their blogs aren’t flagged ‘NSFW’, which is very easy to do -- it’s within the Settings tab, and while I’m not entirely familiar with how blogging works, I’ve managed to figure that out for myself!
