I tread lightly in saying they're a ship, but I'd be a huge liar if I said they weren't (´△｀) Ben and Maple are a slow burn, mostly because of Maple though. Maple is scared of getting close to people again, so she pushes people away a lot! But she can't really do that with Ben, he's always wiggling his way back into her day-to-day routine. He makes her feel wanted as a result though, like she's worth the effort˃͈◡˂͈ In exchange Ben gets to hang out with a girl that likes the same stuff as him and matches his freak pretty well- that and once he's won her over she's loyal enough to him that she chooses him over something plot relevant teehee (⁎˃ᴗ˂⁎)
