[2-panel comic in which two cats are talking. Panel 1: Cat #1 says “I’m sorry I’m not perfect.” Cat #2 says “It’s okay. It’s not your job to be perfect.” Panel 2: Cat #1 says “We’re cats. We don’t have jobs. Cat #2 says “That’s even better!”]

Shakespeare Plays as John Mulaney Quotes
Romeo and Juliet: “You remember being 12. When, you’re like nobody look at me or I’ll kill myself.”
Macbeth: “Shut up! You’re all gonna die.”
Hamlet: “I am so horny and angry all the time and I have no outlet.”
Taming of the Shrew: “My wife is a bitch, and I like her so much.”
Othello: “I would always think, how could another person kill someone? How could a human being kill another human being? And then I got cheated on and I was like, oh okay.
12th Night: “I’m new in town and it gets worse.”
King Lear: “It’s like there’s a horse loose in a hospital. I think eventually it’s gonna be okay, but I have no idea what’s gonna happen next.”

These are my 9 favourite pieces from The Shortest Story so far. I’m so, so proud of what I’ve built with this project. It’s made me love writing fiction again.
Right now I’m Kickstarting a book of 88 of these stories, including:
13 stories narrated by Cecil Baldwin, voice of Welcome to Night Vale, who narrated the trailer
Incredible guest authors, including Robert Shearman (Doctor Who), Helen Marshall (Hair Side, Flesh Side) and Shawn Coss (Any Means Necessary, Cyanide and Happiness)
I’d love if you could check out the book or boost this post. You can also read an album of my 30 best stories on Imgur right now, including unreleased material! Thanks so, so much.
I have a new collection of animal doodles next to surreal/magical encouraging messages. This one features 10 different animals (including this giraffe.) and each message is as magical as it is encouraging. You can download it for as little as 1$ or for any other higher amount of your choice on gumroad.
“Letting people in is mostly about letting yourself out.”
-Hannah Hart
The worst part is you never know what’s coming, you throw yourself off a cliff hoping there aren’t rocks like daggers on the ground. You stay safe and never live, or jump and risk everything. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose; when you’re young you think you know how much it’ll hurt. When it comes, you’ll realize you never had a clue.
