i use photoshop & (sometimes) the website ezgif!
I'd recommend always using the highest quality of mp4 you can get your hands on, and ensuring your gif isnt too long.
the blurriness may be coming from colour loss, which is a guarenteed loss for gifs, try to not compress your gifs too much!
I'd change whatever software you're using now, try out ezgif to start with, they have lots of settings + customisable compression.
