This was the most heart breaking scene. I don’t think we’ve ever really seen Reid cry… well, not since Maeve. We all see Spence as the baby of the group and making his character take Gideon’s murder worse than the rest of the group really brings home to the audience just how much of a MASSIVE deal this is. It’ll change everything. For Spencer, Gideon was one of the first father figures he ever had; effectively Spencer Reid has lost his dad. Congratulations to Matthew for yet again displaying his great skill for acting, he truly is such a talented man.
