Accountability is so important to me. Nobody is perfect, but aināt no way you about to convince me that my reaction to your actions is the problem.

Virginia Woolf, from her novel titled "The Waves," originally published in 1931

Hereās the thing , we often convince ourselves that we can adjust to a
person/place/thing that doesnāt make us happy . We tell ourselves that weāre lucky just to even be there and that a little suffering is manageable and that weāll grow into it. When we do this we neglect our self worth , we take little pieces of ourselves and put it in the āthemā jar as if they were entitled to our suffering . Terrified of being alone so we suffer to keep bad company, it all seems logical until itās on paper ⦠so as we reflect on this mental health awareness month , I ask even if you just do it once , to leave a conversation , place , relationship if you feel your happiness is being put last and you are not being valued and respected as a person. Know where your line is so no one ever crosses it , trust your gut when you feel the vibe isnāt right , because anything that weighs you down negatively isnāt a factor in your growth and will ultimately strip you of all your YOU-ness. You are worthy of all the good things this world has to offer , you deserve to be here , even at your worst someone will see you as their best. Your feelings are valid , you arenāt too sensitive , you deserve to be loved and appreciated , and if you canāt get out of that dark place then donāt ever be ashamed to fight for your life and get help and talk to someone.
š¤š¤š¤ you are so hot and perfect jesus
