It annoyed my other sister so much that she couldn't be bothered to acknowledge that name when she was called.
It'd be like
N: "chej, chej help me turn on the lights"
J: ...
N: "chej! Why you no reply? Chej! Chej! Chej!"
J: "what ba?! Who you calling chej chej there? Dumbass"
Putting it down in ink
So my current counselor thinks it's best for me to start a log, a written-pen-to-paper kinda entry, no matter how long or short I want it to be. It's gotta be a daily thing. And it should have a theme to go about it, least I get sidetracked and go on ranting about something else. He was adamant about the whole pen and paper, make it physical, not on the phone kinda thing.
I mean I've done this before, well, with no particular purpose and no sense of commitment. I wonder how long this time would last.
He says it's so that I get to see what I'm thinking about. It might not signify anything now, cause I'm kinda in a slump. But when things start looking normal again, or when I feel like I have proper reign of my emotions. At that time, when I look back and reread what I wrote, it might have an impact. It might, it might not. Who knows but at least it's one step forward. Hey, a step forward is still progress. I'll take it.
Here's to trying. Here's to taking a step forward, no matter how small that step is. Today I'm hopeful. Tomorrow? Who knows. But let's continue trying.
Recently rethinking of this whole concept that a friend threw at me, which was "just because you've introduced a friend of yours to mine, does not necessarily mean that she is my friend as well, even though we have met several times, and even though that friend of yours have helped me a lot. Hence she is your friend, not mine"
Do people actually think this way? I mean sure, you guys weren't friends in the beginning so just cause a mutual introduced the two of you, would that mean that a friendship should have budded then? What does the whole "your friend, not mine" actually ensues? And furthermore, what if the two of you are already mutuals on facebook and instagram? I mean, i do get that just cause you are mutuals on FB and IG does not mean anything to some people, but does it mean nothing at all?
He told me that just because you're in an unrequited love doesn't mean that it's all bad.
So instead of running from it, face it head on. You'll get to know what is it about your crush that you like. What makes your heart flutter. What makes you smile when thinking of that special person you hold dear in your heart.
So this is the stage where you prepare yourself for the next one that comes along. In the meantime, practice self love and self care. Cause like all the cliche lines you've heard before, if you ain't gonna love yourself, how do you expect others to do it for you?
It doesn't matter if that person does not reciprocate your feelings. At least you are now more aware of yourself. Of what attracts you.
What are we now?
We used to be able to talk freely, free of judgements, free of drama, free of every calculative actions and thoughts.
We used to be able to laugh and cry and do silly things together without caring about anything in the world because we were each other's world.
At least that's how it was for me. For you were my comfort, you were there for me whenever i broke down and needed someone to talk to.
You know all my secrets, my ugly past, my insecurities and dreams and hopes.
I thought we would be able to survive through anything and everything. I thought that as long as we were together we would be able to face all and brace all.
Since when did you start getting annoyed at me?
Since when did my ramblings started to annoy you?
Since when did my presence start to irk you?
Since when did i start to hurt you?
Since when...
Is this the end of the line for us?
Are we not able to understand each other any longer?
Is this relationship already unsalvageable?
but you see her on instagram and it was never really said that you guys aren’t friends but one day she stopped answering and you stopped texting and it’s not like the wound is a cavern but it is a diagram of what if in red letters. you want to tell her nice lipstick that’s a good color but the last time you spoke it was stilted and awkward
how do you say goodbye, you know? it’s not an unfriend and block kind of situation. but you watch the people you once loved go on and have a life and you’re outside of it. and it’s bittersweet because of course it’s okay that you’re both thriving. but she used to be who you’d call if you needed to cry. she used to be who’d you’d be binge watching the new series with. you used to be hers, in a way, even if that way wasn’t permanent. and now she’s someone else and so are you and your friendship is clicking heart shapes next to pictures where she smiles next to people you’ve never met. you know where her birthmark is. she knows where you’ve buried your dead.
the poets and the singers and the authors write about romantic love when it ends. but nobody tells you how to get over a friend.

So i went counseling the other day. So the counselor asked me what i wanna be remembered for, what kinda of accomplishments do i wanna be remembered for when i die. And honestly i dont have clue. So i gave it some thought, and well honestly, why the fuck should i care about all this? I just wanna live life happily, enjoy good food, great music and do whatever i want without constantly being judged. Why do i need to do something to be remembered for? Cant i just live without constantly having to satisfy someone?
