There is just something about the little things… melts your heart, makes your body warm from the inside out. You smile like a goofball, you dance as if the world didn’t matter or you sing loud as if you’re trying to make the world understand how you feel at that moment.
I love these moments, these are the moments people don’t talk about. I think we should. But to be honest I believe I am more open to talk about everything most don’t dare to talk about.
I love smiling across a room at you, or running my arm underneath your shirt to feel your body. Feel our fingers intertwined. You brush my hair because you like how soft it feels and how my shampoo smells.
I also love to sing when I clean or fold laundry. Most of the time in the car and you don’t keep up with the conversation, which is totally okay sometimes I too find it hard to talk about most of anything these days.
You love to watch when I play with our dog and talk to him as if he cares and understands all. I know you watch but you act as if you don’t really care.
These moments we should talk about more often. We should celebrate them and maybe encourage them. Who cares if you are being silly. Be you, be bright, enjoy life.
