it’s the fact that work is an every day thing that doesn’t sit right with me. like surely not

A hard lesson many women in the in their younger 20's seemingly face. Living with someone and depending on them fully, living with them or them acting like the don't care if you work comes at a steep price. We are not that far away from time where women were fighting to get into the workforce, where the lifestyle that seemingly so many women want right now, where their man pays all the bills, handles generally most of the finical hardships, and encourages them to stay home comes at a steep price of their own freedom, emotionally saftey and own needs.

You end up losing yourself to that man and no matter how much they wanna fight and argue about it, having your own place and keeping your own money will never be a bad thing for a woman. The moment a man sees that you are willing to give up your own personal freedom and safety for his version of safety and his vision you are leading yourself down a path that gets harder to come back from.

Men love the feeling of being needed and more importantly they love creating scenarios where they are the hero even when they are really just the villain. Making you dependent on them in ways that you will pay back weather you want to or not.

But if they like it I love it 🤷🏽‍♀️
