“Well….” Souji didn’t look up from where he was reading a book on the couch.

“I know, I know, I’m awesome.” Ian sat down beside his boyfriend as he attempted to grab the book from his hands. “What are you reading?”

“Not exactly what I was going for.” He turned away, closing the book and stashing it under a pillow. It was in English, and Souji had yet to reveal to his boyfriend that he had been learning it in secret. “Nothing.”
