NFL Week 3 Overview (Weekly Pick´em´s)

In this blog I will be overviewing the week 3 matchups and also giving some tips on who to start or bench. I will be doing a Interview with Fantasy Football expert Justin Beman and asking what his weekly fantasy picks are.

I will be continuing off of my last blog where I went over a few games including Steelers @ Browns, Bills @ Dolphins and Eagles @ Commanders.

Bengals @ Jets

Last week the Bengals struggled, They could not produce an offence and their offensive line just got worse. Joe was sacked 6 times and was sacked 7 in the first game. The Jets are coming off strong coming back and beating the Browns at the last second. I think the Jets win vs the Bengals but it will be close. In fantasy I would definitely start Breece Hall.

Lions @ Vikings

Last week the Vikings got embarrassed by the Eagles losing 24-7, Justin Jefferson Had only 6 catches for 48 yards. I think in this week J.J bounces back and puts up big numbers. I have the Vikings winning by big.

Rams @ Cardinals

Last week the Cardinals came back and stole a OT win vs the Raiders. The Rams on the other hand just barely beat the Falcons. It my prediction I have the Cardinals winning in a close game and i expect Kyler Murray and Marquise Brown to put up big numbers.

Chiefs @ Colts

This week the Chiefs will be traveling to Indianapolis to face the colts. Last week the Chiefs didn't look good in there 27-24 win over injured quarterback Justin Herbert and the chargers. The Colts on the other hand have looked even worse tying the Texans in week one and getting shutout by the Jags in week 2. The colts offence was terrible in the first two weeks looking to bounce back against the high powered offence in the Chiefs. Its not looking good for the Colts as Micheal Pittman Jr will still potentially be out I got the Chiefs winning in a blowout.

Packers @ Buccaneers

Last week the Buccaneers squeaked by narrowly in a 20-10 victory over the Saints with their defense being the star of the show in New Orleans. The Packers coming off of their big win over the Chicago Bears are looking much better than there week 1 lose over the Minnesota Vikings. I look to see this is gonna be one of the better games of week 3 both quarterbacks struggling it is gonna be the better defense that will pull out with the win. With Mike Evans being suspended for 1 game after punching Marshon Lattimore again and Chris Godwin still out with a hamstring injury, I have the packers winning a close one in Tampa.

Now asking Fantasy Expert Justin Beman what his starts are this week! His must starts this week Brandin Cooks, Diontae Johnson and Drake London. Justin said ¨ You need to start Brandin Cooks he is on a terrible team and will get 12 plus targets this week at Chicago. Also Diontae Johnson is on the field 89% of the time when Pittsburgh is on offense when Najee was Questionable most of the week the Steelers will be looking for Diontae this Thursday. Lastly Drake London coming off of a 25 point week is playing a even worse defense in Seattle The only thing that will keep him from a must start is the Seattle weather.¨

Start/Sit Monday Night Football? Looking ahead into week 3

Gabe Davis suffered a minor ankle injury last week against the Rams. Each day the Bills have left no comment on the injury and that may be a problem. Davis may have limited reps on Monday if the injury is not fully healed. If he is on your fantasy team and you have other wide receivers available to start (AJ Brown, Adam Thielen, Robert Woods) you may want to have those guys starting over him.If you have a available Flex spot and you happen to have (Miles sanders, Devin Singletary) I would also have those guys over Gabe Davis this week.  If Davis is unable to suit up Monday, Isaiah McKenzie and Jamison Crowder will likely see an increase in targets. If you can pick any of those guys up in free agency, you also may want to consider starting them too.

As in who to start in the flex Miles sanders or Thielen, I would easily chose Sanders. Robert Woods would be questionable to start over sanders, He has boom or bust games and its never really in between. With Woods playing the Bills i would sit him over sanders. Miles Sanders is set for a huge game against the Vikings, The Packers run game was the only thing the Vikings couldn't stop last week and I think they struggle again this week.

Overview to Week 3

The Thursday night game is the Steelers @ Browns, With the Steelers missing T.J Watt the Browns will run over the Steelers defense. Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt will most likely split snaps and they are due to have a big game. Mitch Trubisky is also due to have a big game, The Browns defense let up big numbers to the Jets in week 2.

Bills @ Dolphins

Tua had an insane game in week 2 putting up 6 touchdowns and almost 500 yards, I do not expect him to do that against the Bills this week. The Bills have had no problem locking down big name receivers and with their pass rush it almost makes it impossible for a QB. If you have anyone on the Bills offence i would start them, week 2 the Dolphins defense put up -4 fantasy points and Lamar Jackson had 42 fantasy points and his receivers put up numbers too.

Eagles @ Commanders

The Eagles are looking to ball out this week, after the Lions beat the Commanders in week 2 it looks like any team can beat them. I would hold out on starting Wentz and McLauren, because Eagles lock down corner Darius Slay will be covering him all game. I would start Jahan Dotson or Curtis Samuel this week. On the Eagles I would start Hurts, Brown, Sanders, Goedert and Smith , Last week they let up near 40 fantasy points to Amon Ra St Brown. This week I am sure that Aj Brown will do the same.
