people who hate Samuel’s character are a little bit hypocritical. You are ready to forgive the murderer, cheater, racist, drug addict, accomplice if they have motivation and strong emotional moments.

but you absolutely do not empathize with the good guy who is just trying to fight for his family? He’s overhated like he is an villain wtf... Yes, he is not the most interesting and bright character because he is realistic and simple. When he was good guy in s1 no one appreciated his kindness and everyone hated him because it’s boring. When he received a more interesting problems and done to be too good you didn’t appreciate this too and started to blame him. So what do people want? They look for any reason to hate him but literally forgive ever more dramatic characters

he is called selfish when he literally never thought of himself. he always cared for the family, for the brother who slept with his girlfriend. Samuel forgave him and fought for his freedom, even when he fell in love with Carla, he did not give in to his feelings and brought the matter to an end. even if Carla again lied to the police and this meant that his family was under threat again - he understood her and did not blame her. he did not put his experiences above her own. is this guy selfish, seriously?

And people say that he is not worthy of the girls from the series. When is he literally the only guy in the series who cheated on anyone in a relationship? He did wrong only with Rebe, yes, but he didn’t want this and he cared about her, defended when they wanted to expel her from school. He saw the best in Carla, he did not treat her as an accessory, and he never condemned her for everything she had done.

Are you really blind or just refuse to see how good he is? you really don’t understand that he was bullied for 2 seasons because he was a waiter, his brother and first love betrayed him, he never knew why Carla continues to lie but he still fought to the end? you really do not notice 13830000 of his good qualities and fixate on 2-3 bad?
