Rewatching Teen Wolf right now. Tell me why Isaac carried seasons 2 & 3 on his back. He had so much trauma from his father who was violently killed by the Kanima, his older brother was killed in combat, his mother died when he was a child, two of his best friends (Erica and Boyd) are murdered and he was targeted by the Argent werewolf hunters.
All that happens and yet he is still one of Teen Wolf’s most unproblematic characters. He just wanted someone to care for him I think. He found his pack and his girlfriend. And even that was taken from him. He deserved so much better than what he had.
Along with Stiles, Isaac was the best character in the show and I will stand by that statement. He found friends in Scott, Stiles and Lydia and love in Alison. He was funny, kind, supportive and constantly put himself in danger for the people he cared for. I will never forgive the writers of Teen Wolf for not giving Daniel Sharman the opportunity to really showcase what he could do. He easily could have been a main character and been in the title sequence.
