You knew Duncan for all of 6 months. I can recruit and tolerate Loghain even when he was an accessory after the fact to the slaughter of my entire family and you’re going to choose this hill to die on?

My biggest Star Trek related pet peeve?

Absolutely fabulous characters being introduced and featuring in one episode only, never to be seen again. I'm not just talking about Solok.

Why does no one talk about the fact that Greagoir ran pastmagelings to get to the outer door of Kinloch Hold? He says that he was right outside theEnchanter meeting when all hell broke loose with Uldred. The apprenticequarters are literally right by the main door and yet there isn’t a singleapprentice/mageling with the Templars.

His job is to be a guardian to mages, yet he abandoned themand shut the door in the face of children and tranquil. And nobody says a wordabout it.

Yes. Absolutely. My Warden was female Cousland - but if I had written the story, she would have killed every Templar in Ferelden before letting them take Anders away. And she never would have made him give up Ser Pounce.

My parents just stopped watching ST:PIC over Seven calling Raffi her girlfriend to bluff a security guard. 😂 “When did Star Trek get woke??” Babe, it’s always been political. Y’all literally grew up with Star Trek having the first televised interracial kiss. If it offends you to see lesbians or to see social problems highlighted that need to be changed, then Star Trek really ain’t the show for you. Granted, I’m not a fan of ST:PIC’s writing (from what I’ve seen so far), but I’m all for Seven kissing girls and for there being social issues raised.

Oh shit. um I realize I did this completely wrong. G.) I write them out of order. Sometimes I get inspiration for a scene or dialogue snippet that’s more than halfway through what the narrative ends up being, and that’s where I start working from. L.) I edit and revise as I go - it’s one of the reasons I take so long to finish chapters. I will usually ask a friend to read through it once and give me any feedback or pick out any mistakes I missed, but that’s it. O.) I begin with character concepts. Plots get built out from there, and often end up helping inform even more thorough fleshing out of the characters. S.) Pregnancy and kids. I *LOVE* my blorbos having babies. T.) Modern/Our World AUs and Real Person fics. The former just bore me, and the latter make me queasy.
