Ი︵𐑼 .✦🌙 Mikalight thoughts: Mikami discovers that his god's name is Yagami Light and becomes obsessed with the moon. He moves his bed and opens the window at night so he can see the moon from his bed. He then becomes fascinated and obsessive about the lunar phases and buys the biggest telescope he can afford with his salary and savings to appreciate every detail of the moon with his own eyes. This keeps him entertained until he can meet Light. Also, the rabbit becomes his favorite animal and mochi his favorite sweet, due to the Japanese legend of the rabbit on the moon (Tsuki no Usagi). For Mikami, Light is the moon and he is the sacrificial rabbit. He will eat a mochi every day along with his tea, and it will be a sacred moment of solitude in his routine. Also, now that his God has a face and a precise identity, he suddenly becomes aware of his homosexuality, which he previously believed to be asexuality. Knowing about Kira's human version is a religious experience of resurrection for him...

Finally drew some Mikalight!!! This is based on a fic I'm cowriting rn, but honestly I don't think much context is needed, Kira is happy to work on his new world and nothing makes his husband happier than seeing him work on it!
