So glad I got off the couch yesterday! Did my first hike & ski of the #HighlandBowl this season, and found all the snow. Mid-winter pow day conditions in spots! Probably helps that the snowcat isn't running yet. #Aspen (at Aspen Highlands)

"The Mountains Win Again." So close, yet so far... The 14er Snowmass Mountain was too much this weekend. Got above 13k ft, but no summit. I'm thinkin' the 10 mile hike to Snowmass Lake, with the 50 pound camping pack was a factor. Next time it's a 3 day trip. So beautiful up there! (at Snowmass Mountain)
