It's interesting that after all the years and posts, no one seems to notice.
New Mexico mornings
New Mexico
So 7 years ago I left the railroad this week. The quote by Pema Chodron is as fitting
as me walking away into the slot canyons of Tent Rocks. After the last 2 years of pandemic insanity in the world around me I realized I really don't need any more haircuts. Meeting Pauline was part of my reward. So the next to last picture has been my mantra for the last 7 years. And quite frankly, I love my life.

Qualities of Highly Sensitive People
In general, highly sensitive people tend:
To be more sensitive to sights, smells, sounds, tastes and smells
To be philosophical and more in touch with their spirituality
To feel highly uncomfortable when being observed (e.g. by a teacher, a boss, during recitals and performances etc.)
To have vivid dreams which they remember in great detail
To have a deep appreciation for beauty, art and nature
To be good readers of others, and of non-verbal cues
To experience very powerful and intense emotions
To find it difficult to rebound from strong feelings and emotions
To be highly empathic and sensitive to others’ feelings
To be hard on themselves, and unforgiving of mistakes.
