I figured I could start an art account again, so I made a side blog for fandom ramble and fanart! Currently, I’m very (very) invested into WKM, but I will also post DHMIS and occasional other fandom material (god knows when).

I'm currently going through all the Markiplier Adventures to get inspirations for new fics and just for fun because it's been ages since I last watched them.

A detail in 'A Date with Markiplier' I only now noticed and one I really like is the differences between 'Ending 3: Vanilla' and 'Ending 4: Chocolate'.

In both endings we go eating ice cream with Mark after being confronted with two Marks and having to kill the imposter (aka Darkiplier).

In the Vanilla Ending Mark mentions that we had to kill someone but brushes it off quickly and wants to resume the date.

(I also like to believe that the Darkiplier fakeout was just us trying to process the fact that we killed someone)

In the Chocolate Ending Mark is more empathetic. He asks us if we are okay. Tells us that it's going to be alright. And then it's revealed that it was Darkiplier all along and that we made the 'wrong' choice.

Honestly Darkiplier is only good choice in my opinion *looks at the Meta Ending*

I really love the backstory WKM gives to Dark, who, as a concept, started off as a funny evil Mark; But now it’s complex, it’s tragic, and while being corrupted, while having turned bad, now-canon Dark is neither evil, nor some sort of alternate Mark.

I like to back-track canon, since Mark had ADWM in mind when creating WKM. In my opinion, Dark’s story with Actor and the Viewer are canon in Date too, since the story has been intentionally “coined” with the existing canon. +It makes it all extra sad and tragic, as we like it.
